In this workshop participants will learn how to add texture, depth and dimension to paper, photographs, and/or collages using embroidery. They will practise basic stitches and patterns by making their very own stitch sampler, and then plan and create an embroidered paper project. No previous embroidery experience is required, all skill levels welcome.

🗓 Wednesday, October 22nd 🕒5:00 PM - 8:00 PM 📍 Biolab Lisboa
In this workshop participants will learn the core principles, materials and techniques of machine embroidery and follow demonstrations performed on a Brother Innov-is NV2600 machine. Participants will then apply these skills and embroider textile or clothing using available embroidery designs and fonts. Attending this workshop will give you free access to the machine on Biolab’s open days.
