Paper route on steroids

As a former paper boy, I can attest to the fact that running for Senate is kind of like a paper route on steroids.

Both involve:

🗞️ Waking up early
🗞️ Going door to door
🗞️ Delivering need-to-know information to Iowans
🗞️ Fighting extreme cold, intense heat, rain, snow, and wind to get the job done
🗞️ Bugging people for money (sorry)

11-year-old me didn’t always look forward to waking up at 5 AM to drag a paper wagon down the chilly sidewalks of Council Bluffs for $10 a month. But my parents never let me slack off, and I’m grateful for that.

That perseverance equipped me for the many trials I’ve faced in life, not least of all the one I’m facing in this battleground Senate race.

For instance, we just learned Elon Musk will spend up to $120 million to buy Trump a Senate majority. That’s on top of the $55 million that pro-Trump superPACs plan to spend just in Iowa.

Instead of throwing in the towel, we have to keep the pedal to the metal and deliver our message to swing voters.

I don’t take corporate PAC money, so will you pitch in a 1989-era paperboy’s monthly salary ($10) to help me flip this majority-deciding Senate seat?
