The Castle, my new book, is coming to the US on September 1

Hi all

I'm delighted to let you know that my new book, THE CASTLE, is coming to the US on September 1 and is now available for preorder wherever you buy books.

Through several unfolding stories, some of them quite hazardous and extraordinary, I piece together the reasons why I think many men have been unraveling in the 21st century. From the death of utopian factory towns to the false promises of YouTube influencer culture, these are stories about why some men are feeling tossed around in a sea of conflicting ideologies about what being a man actually *means* - and are, as a result, becoming detached from reality, behaving like separatists, creating a new era of disinhibition. It’s a book about how there are suddenly lots of things that men have been used to doing that they can’t do any more - and are, as a consequence, unraveling, creating fake realities, strange worlds for themselves inside their homes and castles…

It’s my first book in eleven years (unless you count my podcasts) and it took three years to write. The US cover is beautiful. As is the UK one, which I will be unveiling as soon as I can…
