This weekend, I’m going to one of the coolest festivals ever, the Montrose Music Festival. There will be music on stage, but that’s not the main event.
Montrose is built around sharing music. There are song circles spread around the grounds. If there’s an empty seat, sit down and play. One song at a time, clockwise rotation, no microphones, no stars. Just people sharing music.
