FARAWAY Update: RSVP Deadline Extended & New Qualified Teams Announced

Hi everyone,

We have a few important updates regarding the FARAWAY Round 2 selection process and RSVP deadlines.

The qualified list has now been updated, and we’ve invited 50–60 additional teams to Round 2. If you were previously waitlisted, please check your dashboard to see if your status has changed.

The RSVP deadline for currently qualified teams has been extended to Tuesday, 4 August 2026.

We made this decision because many universities were closed over the weekend, and several participants were unable to:

• Receive confirmation for travel reimbursement or grants.

• Collect the required funds from their universities in time.

We apologize for the late update. We reviewed multiple exceptional cases before making this decision to ensure the process remains fair for everyone.

Please make sure you follow the deadline that applies to your current status. Missing your deadline may result in your spot being offered to another team.
