It seems like the Nation of Israel and the turmoil in the Middle East is in every major news story lately, along with opinions about what the Israeli government is doing to rid itself of the threat of Hamas. Simultaneously, the rise of Islam across the globe, including right here in the United States continues to escalate. With the war in Gaza, anti-Israel sentiment is exploding across our nation as the Marxist Left teams up with Islamists to fundamentally collapse Western society into chaos.
All of this is to be expected as we continue to head deeper into the fulfillment of Biblical end-times prophecy, so we should not be surprised.
“For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.”

It is to be expected that persecution against Christians and Jews will continue to escalate as things progress. What is less expected and far more disturbing is the division among conservatives, and even many in the evangelical churches as it relates to the nation of Israel. From a purely secular, “America First” perspective, a compelling case can be made against Israel and its government. Some key individuals with significant conservative followings have publicly expressed an increasing disdain for, and serious questioning of, our Nation’s extensive support of Israel. Some of the more impactful individuals include Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and a young man named Nick Fuentes.
The Great Rupture: Tucker Carlson, the New Right, and the Unraveling of the American-Israeli Alliance
Tucker Carlson’s perspective on Israel represents a sharp divergence from traditional American conservatism, rooted in an “America First” isolationist doctrine that views the alliance through a transactional rather than strategic lens. He frequently contrasts the billions in U.S. aid sent to Israel—specifically for border security like the Iron Dome—against the lack of funding for the U.S. southern border, arguing that American taxpayer money is being prioritized for foreign nations over domestic needs. Additionally, Carlson has introduced a distinct religious critique, highlighting the declining Christian population in the Holy Land to argue that the Israeli government is failing to protect Christians, thereby challenging the long-standing evangelical justification for unconditional support.
The Geopolitical and Theological Metamorphosis of Candace Owens: An Analysis of Her Stance on the Nation of Israel
Candace Owens’ geopolitical stance on the Nation of Israel has shifted dramatically from conventional Republican support to a theology-driven hostility between 2017 and 2025. Initially integrated into the pro-Israel conservative establishment via Turning Point USA and The Daily Wire, Owens’ alignment fractured as she defended Kanye West’s antisemitism in 2022 and subsequently labeled Israel’s 2023 military response in Gaza a “genocide”. Following her 2024 dismissal from The Daily Wire, she adopted “Christ is King” as a political slogan and pivoted to “Supersessionist” theology, asserting that modern Israel is an illegitimate “occult” state founded by “Frankists” and labeling the Star of David a pagan hexagram. This radicalization culminated in 2025 with her claim that Israeli donors and intelligence were complicit in the assassination attempt on Charlie Kirk, a position that led to her being denied a visa by the Australian government and signaled a total rupture with the mainstream American Right.
The Reactionary Vanguard: Nicholas Fuentes, the Groyper Movement, and the Mainstreaming of Antisemitism in the American Right
The Groyper movement, led by white nationalist Nicholas Fuentes, represents a radicalized, digitally native insurgency seeking to realign the American right toward authoritarianism and “Christian Nationalism” by displacing the established conservative consensus. Distinguished by its “entryist” strategy into the Republican Party and the use of “poisoned irony” to radicalize Generation Z, the movement explicitly propagates antisemitic conspiracy theories, Holocaust denial, and the “Great Replacement” narrative under the banner of “America First”. The period of 2024–2025 marked a volatile escalation in the movement’s trajectory, characterized by Fuentes’s definitive rupture with Donald Trump—whom he labeled a “scam artist”—his mainstream legitimization through a controversial interview with Tucker Carlson, and a descent into stochastic violence linked to the assassination of rival Charlie Kirk and Fuentes’s own arrest for battery.
The thing all of these three have in common is that their vision and perspective of the Nation of Israel is based purely on the secular, political aspects of the country, not on a Biblical context. From that perspective, it is very possible to promote an anti-Israel narrative that can make a lot of sense to a lot of people. But we must keep in mind God’s warning about end-times Jerusalem:
“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”
