uhhhh yeah this sh— totally strange. if you dig esoteric dancing, if you dig mystery, if you dig obtuse pretense… this four tet secret project, sometimes referred to as wingdings or symbols, might be for you. i’m nostalgic for a dancefloor on a planet that i’ve never been to. my favorite song on the 2026 project is the 3rd track (☼:̴͓̞̑̌̂̆̊͋̀:̸͎̟̯̂̓̌:̶̢͙͙͕̠̩͆(̷̮͍͚̫͚͂̍)̵̳̗̊(ㅍ◟ㅍ)ა ˓˚✧₊⁎❝*ೃ:(  ❝ ꉺლ༽༼இ•̛)ྀ◞ ༎ຶ ༽ৣৢ؞ৢ؞ؖ ཥ•̫͡•ཤꉺ༽♡(•ᴗ͇ˊ̑⁾ ۩۪؞ءؙۜؖۛ ّّٕٓٔٓ) the whole thing is great and then the older record which people refer to as fishes is also amazing.

after hearing her name a couple times on a podcast that i like, i thought why not give it a spin. hot dang it’s some good stuff. taylor swift for weirdos and freaks.

amazing emotional rock music from straight edge legend supergroup fiddlehead. love the epic dynamics and delivery on this one. kinda like have heart does the national, i’m not complaining… everything these guys do looks beautiful too album art/posters/music videos etc. will make you believe in “hardcore” music

underscores goes louder and weirder on this record than ever before, capturing the frenetic apathy of the gen z zeitgiest. dance music is back with a moshpit. this tune is probably the most normal thing that happens, eye of the storm vibe. ffo: charli xcx…really

loukeman is a prolific and awesome dj/electronic music wizard, here with the 3rd installation of his SD- project. he brings together an eclectic mash of indie and dance music that is equal parts nostlagic and futuristic. perfect sentimental special weirdo vibes, you must jammm.

when i hear this tune i do truly believe we will all be okay. maybe i’m out of touch, but i haven’t heard this kinda emo rockin’ since i saw pope in nola at gasa gasa a decade ago… warms my heart that the fuzz persists in this day and age. whole album rocks.

jillian doing the symphonic coldplay style pop music, her cover of “yellow” serving as a premonition. it’s great to see the evolution from perfect pop tune “sword” from 2021 to now a fully anthemic epic silver screen. ian sweet should and could be one of the gracie, addison, olivias etc with this next record. i hope so because she’s definitely had an influence on this new generation of young pop superstars, and deserves the recognition!
