I’ve been a week zig-zagging across the U.S.A., from Exeter, NH, to Seattle, Washington, from San Diego to ol St. Louie, from Pittsburgh to New Yawk, New Yawk—spreading Sorrow everywhere I went. Boy, that was fun. But there’s still a lot of this tour left ahead of me, weeks and miles to go before I sleep. I’m here in the U.K. now for slightly more than a week of events, including appearances with horror stars Keith Rosson (Coffin Moon), V. Castro (The Haunting of Alejandra), and Thomas Olde Huevelt (Darker Days). There’s a stop at World Fantasy Con in Brighton and a visit to the British Library for a night of talking about the uncanny. Finally, to top it all off, I get a chance to sit down with my buddy, Sunday Times bestseller Joe Abercrombie (The Devils) at the Bath Festival. Here’s the tour at a glance:

Was pretty thrilled to see King Sorrow selected as a New York Times Editors’ Choice last week.
I did an interview with Variety which they broke into two pieces—the first about Black Phone 2 and the second about King Sorrow.
I’ve done a shit-ton of podcasts in the last month and a couple new ones were just released: I blabbed away with Joe Abercrombie on Book Off!, and shot my mouth off for a while with the crew from Last Podcast on the Left.
In November, I’m headed to Traverse City to attend their annual National Writers Series (I was last there for a terrific bullshit fest with the superb crime writer Loren D. Estleman), and in advance of my appearance I did an interview with Northern Express; we talked about the book, but we also got surprisingly deep into the subject of surviving the social media age.
Both seasons of NOS4A2 will arrive on Netflix on October 29th, just in time for Halloween, so here’s your chance to check it out if you missed it when it first aired on AMC.
