Feel like my soul has turned into steel
Bob Dylan, “Not Dark Yet”
On Leading with Greatness has been my passion project since October 2020. With nearly 300 weekly essays on leadership behind me, I’ve begun to think, “What’s next?” Or maybe the question is, “So what?”
Is it time for another book? A new podcast? A long-overdue audition for The Real Housewives of Wilmington, Delaware? Or maybe just retirement.
So much to consider, and I need time.
In some ways, I feel my writing is spinning in place as I age in place, so I’ve decided to take a few months off—at least—as I consider my next move and enjoy my summer. Summertime is the perfect time to take time.
If you’re a paid subscriber, as always, you have my deepest gratitude. I’ve paused payments for the duration, so you won’t be charged.
If you’re a dedicated or regular reader/listener/viewer, thank you. I can see the stats (55,300+ views), so I know you’re out there.
I’d love to hear your thoughts as I enter this transition. Leave a comment or just email me at Jim@jimsalvucci.com. Every essay I’ve published on Substack, YouTube, LinkedIn, and podcast platforms will remain available for rummaging, so On Leading with Greatness isn’t going anywhere even if I am.
Also, if you haven’t yet, you can always grab a copy of my book, Greater than Great. I’ve been told that it’s a quick and entertaining read. I’ve also been told that it’s just the right size to prop up that wobbly coffee table you’ve been meaning to fix.
Until next time,
Jim
