Julie Gerstenblatt · DAUGHTERS OF NANTUCKET

So, THE STARGAZER OF NANTUCKET launches in three (!!!) weeks, and I just remembered that I didn’t share my book tour plans in this newsletter yet! Duh! Like, what have I been doing that could make me so busy? Writing book #3 and working at Barrington Books and getting a tooth pulled? (Yes. Those things.)

So, without further ado, which is Shakespearean for right now, here it is:

I’m so excited! I’ll be in conversation with so many wonderful writers and can’t wait to see all of you readers in person! You can get tickets and find all other info on my website!

A few special events to note include the pre-launch talk at The Griswold Inn on Sunday, June 7th, where you’ll get your book two days early and we’ll chat about life aboard a clipper ship in 1851, aka America’s 75th anniversary, as we gear up for its 250th! And on June 9th, I’m celebrating launch day at An Unlikely Story, the awesome bookstore with an event space and wine bar created by local author hero Jeff Kinney of the DIARY OF A WIMPY KID empire.

I am thrilled to be included again in the Nantucket Book Festival, and I’m also super psyched to speak at my home bookstore of Barrington Books on Monday, June 15th!

Some things to note: more events will be added for July and August, so I will keep you posted. The best way to keep up to date is to follow me on Instagram. (In fact, another event has already been added for July 16th at Mitchell’s Book Corner on Nantucket.)

Speaking of Nantucket, if you’d like a personalized, signed copy of STARGAZER, please pre-order one now from Mitchell’s Book Corner. I will be ferrying over to the island to sign copies on June 1. This makes a great gift for the Nantucket-lover in your life and comes with a limited-edition bookmark and two fun stickers, as shown below.

I cannot stress enough the importance of pre-orders to help an author (me, in this case) do well out of the gate, so please support this initial push by purchasing your copy or copies today from your fave bookstore!

Lastly, I would like to share some great press! Boston.com named STARGAZER as one of the 10 best beach reads for a summer day in New England.

Yay! I was excited to see author friend Meg Mitchell Moore’s novel, DOWN WITH THE SHIPMANS, listed too. We will be speaking together at Inkfish Books in Warren, RI on July 30th along with Deb Curtis, whose debut novel is set in RI and was published by Jenna Bush Hager’s imprint, Thousand Voices.

I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! Let’s kick-off summer right — right now, without further ado!

xo

Julie
