Noon Walk w_Theme from Nyquil Dystopia

This is video #2 of the 30-day video posting challenge my wife Sarah proposed.

I’m still refining the format and style, but I know it wants to be frictionless (just shoot and post - no editing, no scripting, just go), contain a musical or sound design element (composition, modular patch, found sound), and experimental.

So far, I’ve learned that the video in Substack function was kind of low-fi…might have to avoid that.

Also learned that I can play one of my compositions from SoundCloud app on the phone and record a video at the same time. The video will record the audio from the SoundCloud App! This will help immensely with the music/sound design aspect. I originally recorded this video with the music playing on the phone, but I had the volume maxed out, and so it was pretty distorted. So I just put a clean version of the music track in.

The music is an original composition of mine called “Theme from Nyquil Dystopia.” You are hearing it here for the first time ever :-)
