Adrian Marsh, PhD, is one of the star speakers at the 2026 Energy Science and Technology Conference (ESTC) in Washington state, USA, this month.
When at home in England, he moves in two worlds.
His Cambridge university education qualified him to work on superconductors, semiconductors and quantum effect devices. That launched a career in engineering.
Today, his successes in that conventional world allow him the independence to explore far beyond conventional science.
The “explore far beyond…” part began early for Dr. Marsh.
Following is an excerpt from an autumn 2024 article in Nexus magazine, which I wrote after interviewing Dr. Marsh:
At 25 years of age he had accomplished much of what he had aimed to do, and was left with questions about the purpose of life. As a result, he has been on a journey of personal development for half of his fifty-some years.
And at that same young age, he renewed his interest in concepts such as an aether, and basics of what he calls New Science.
Now with his own laboratory, and in his own time, he helps uncover basic principles of electricity. You can see his ‘Wheelwork of Nature’ videos online, for instance.
Regarding his Wheelwork of Nature series, he explains,
“Nikola Tesla said there will come a time when we learn to attach our experiments and apparatus to the very ‘wheelwork of nature,’ so somehow we have to come into synch with natural processes.”
What is New Science?
Conventional science has limitations, although it creates useful structures. “Conventional science is a very good expression of the form of life—what things are made of, how they’re made, and how they interact with each other on a physical level.”
New science, on the other hand, joins electricity and energy research with esoteric and philosophical questions, Dr. Marsh said. It explores the aetheric spectrum, yet today’s science studies only a small part of that spectrum.
It gets personal.
“When we formulate an experiment so that we are part of the experimental equation, then we are doing new science.”
Golden ratio
An experiment first done by Eric Dollard in 1974 and rediscovered by Dr. Marsh provides an eye-opener.
The Golden Ratio experiment is where you see electricity displaying an underlying fundamental natural order, Dr. Marsh said.
Fern-like fractal patterns of a specially-created electrical discharge show nature’s preference for the Golden Ratio.
Mathematicians dating back into antiquity noticed that 1.6180339887… “mathematical constant” ratio and had other names for it, such as the Divine Proportion.
You’re probably familiar with the Golden Ratio as expressed in an expanding logarithmic spiral. You see that geometric shape, and the ratio in measurements of structures, everywhere—
in classical Greek architecture,
in measurements of the Great Pyramid,
in the curl of an ocean wave,
the spiraling pattern on a pine cone
or petals on a rose.
The Golden Ratio “has a harmonious balanced feeling, a power in it.”
And electricity can display this underlying fundamental natural order!
Harmony with nature is the key
Don’t look for “natural order” in electricity coming out of the wall plug. The grid isn’t built for that.
In contrast, new-science experimenters create an electric discharge in a harmonious way which can only be done by setting up the conditions skillfully.
For example, the Tesla coil of a high enough frequency must create visible discharges and must be allowed to be in a natural resonant state with the generator.
“You don’t push the coil to do what it doesn’t want to do, or force it.” Forcing the coil collapses the Golden Ratio Discharge.
“When you look at the symmetry...fractal self-repeating, self-similar expansion and the Golden Ratio expansion in the discharge, it’s almost like a choreographed dance sequence….Almost like inherent intelligence is involved.”
“So it is very reflective of the natural order.”
An effect revealing Intelligence in nature can transform a worldview.
In my opinion, it’s time for educators to bring such knowledge into the zeitgeist, to inspire and empower future generations for creating harmonious technologies and societies.
I believe young people benefit from observing reality, learning to think independently, and gaining respect for the natural order on Earth and in the cosmos.
As I see it, Dr. Marsh is a good role model, for students to develop balance in their lives—balance between the technological and the higher/nonphysical levels.
On the tech level, he freely shares results of experiments related to Nikola Tesla’s discoveries.
He’s also mentored experimenters by teaching how to calibrate and use proper measuring equipment so they can accurately measure what they may have viewed as revolutionary results of their experiments.
