I wrote a book instead! You can scroll down to see a draft of the cover.

I feel more like myself than I have for a very long time. The last few years have been a rollercoaster to say the least. 2024 was fun for the Olympics but absolutely devastating for my business. I wound up in the hospital from the stress of trying to figure out how to pay my team. 2025 was the rebound I needed. So much so that early last year, for the first time since releasing it, I read my last book, Sea of the Unknown. I don’t like to pick up my old writing, I’m very much a “Publish and forget it” kind of writer.

But I couldn’t put it down. Not to pat myself on the back here, but I finished it in two sittings and realized I was actually proud of myself. I’d written a good book. And I knew I needed to follow it up.

2024 Paris Olympic Games

If you’re here, you already know I like to write. You might not realize just how much, however - I’ve actually written about a dozen books and have published nine of them (and unpublished eight of those, just to keep you on your toes). Those unpublished books are all fiction, but Sea of the Unknown has and will remain available until it winds up banned for some reason. That was the story of how I got to Paris in the first place and, more than a book about cafes and baguettes, it’s a book dedicated to my pursuit of creative freedom. It was my search for a home.

Interested in Sea of The Unknown?

This was taken at Strada Cafe. A great spot for coffee, food, & to write on the Left Bank of Paris

While I was lucky enough to find that home, it wasn’t until I established myself in Paris that the real work could begin. Demons in hot pursuit only need you to stop and catch your breath for a minute. This new book is about turning and facing them.

Of course Paris features heavily.

I feel more like myself because this is the first book I’ve written since 2019. I used to write one every year but took a long break to focus on YouTube, building my business, and just trying to piece myself together. I went through a lot. I had a lot more to go through. And suddenly I find myself on the other side with a supportive team, friends across my favorite city, and a business that isn’t on the verge of sinking. I can write again. I can vlog at a faster cadence again. And I get to share it all with you. I’m the luckiest guy in Central European Time.

Pre-orders are now open for my new book, Desert of the New. You’ll want to grab one now for a couple of reasons:

ONE: We’re having a pre-launch party! There are limited tickets available that can only be purchased in conjunction with a copy of the book and once they’re gone, they’re gone. It’s going to be a party to remember with party favors, a special guest host, everything.

TWO: Your exclusive Paris Passport! Every pre-order, whether you make the party or not, can also be bundled with a Paris Passport. This ties into a story in the book, but we’ve created a scavenger hunt across Paris to visit some of my favorite bars and coffee shops - and get exclusive stickers and discounts at each and every one. These will not be sold after the book is officially launched in June.

THREE: We’re also throwing a LAUNCH PARTY! Can’t make the pre-launch party? That’s ok, there will be an open-invite launch party in June (date TBD). Bring your Paris Passport to the party and get an exclusive final sticker that will ONLY be available at the launch party to complete your collection.

DESERT OF THE NEW PRE-ORDER

Go pre-order your copy of Desert of the New! Then keep your eyes peeled for upcoming updates on the books, the passports, who might be in them, and how you can maximize your summer in Paris with it
