Day 847 – Hügelkultur

The proof is in the pudding. Our first hügelkultur raised bed was a success. So let s repeat that. Let s also have fewer skid-steer mishaps going forward that was close!

Segmented Spoilboard, with a side of logs and a flood..

The CNC spoilboard is done. Well, the horizontal table. It s a similar but much different design than the last one. Less expensive hardware, more capability. Of course, a few scheduling curveballs. Unexpected events are becoming more expected..

Computer Cart – Bucket Pod 2.0

Bucket Pod 1.0 was a great success in my last two shop spaces. Because I record more outside than inside on this property, and with me using more than one camera, I always reach for a tripod. But the bucket pod doesn t need to go to the landfill. Let s reuse it for a CNC computer [ ]

Day 814 – This was Long Overdue

I ve accidentally run into a lumber shortage. And I want to get some beams cut on the CNC for small-scale timber framing. So it s sawmill time. However, the sawmill area has reached a boiling point. We re on schedule with a logging company to get our pines harvested this fall. Between me not being able to [ ]

5 x 12 AvidCNC Day 5

Day 5 of the 5 12 @AvidCNC CNC build. I have some fun projects upcoming. In no particular order: chicken coop, small production run of CNC-made hand tool workbenches (oh the irony..), various storage solutions for the apartment and shop.
