Been Doing some random reading from the daring fireball archives. Crazy to think about how people thought of iPhone pricing back then . $499 from 2007 inflation adjusted to 2026 is roughly $800. This happens to be right where the iPhone 17 starting price is today. @gruber may find this interesting.

Just used claude to create a google sheet I can add “tasks” to , then, they automatically use send to things to add to my [current] task manager, Things 3. I have to use a pc at work and have to access Things 3 from my iPad or phone. I can send tasks via email though. I would have had no idea how to use google apps script by myself. Crazy what you can do with AI these days.

Very excited. Picking up a M5 MBP Pro, 24GB, 2TB. I know ram is kind of lite- but I’m not a dev. Do some lite video editing. I’m coming from an intel MBA if you can believe it.

I would love for iOS 27 to allow the system to use MCP. Allow hooks into all levels of the system. (if you’re willing to let it) I would love to be able to use some of the new tools that Claude allows, but with iOS versus just the Mac.

Stuffed GR1 26L Heritage for a quick 2 day business trip. Fits under the seat. Had it for over a year but this is my first time traveling with it. Got it dor EDC to work but found it a little too big. Seems perfect for this 2 day trip. #Goruck
