Hello you 🤍
I hope you’re very, very well.
I mean that.
And it’s how I’ve chosen to begin many of my articles.
I love the intimacy. The knowing that I’m here, writing, and you’re there, reading.
I appreciate it.
You are appreciated.
Yes, you are.
Loop it. Affirm it.
Today, I would love to share a few words about the art of creation.
I’m currently still in the countryside of Denmark, spending time in a little tree house surrounded by nature and the sea.
I love it here.
Just like the last time I wrote the article ‘‘Love Is Literally the Whole Point - A gentle guide to finding peace, reassurance, and trust in the love you already have.’’, I’m sitting in the garden with my first cup of coffee.
The wind in my hair.
The sounds of birds.
The sun warming my skin, even though it’s classic Danish summer weather: cloudy.
Over the past day (and night), I’ve been working on a new project.
It kept me awake all night.
The next morning, the first draft of a new vision had been created.
Now I’m much further along.
I love that.
It’s another reminder that a new identity can be created with intention.
A new way to live.
A new woman to become.
I love life design.
I love that we have the power to create.
And I love the art of creation.
The art of creation is the intentional process of turning something invisible into something real.
A thought into a vision.
A feeling into a direction.
An idea into a project, a new identity, a relationship, a home, a business, or a completely different way of living.
Creation begins before there is anything tangible to show.
It begins in your imagination.
In the quiet moments when you allow yourself to wonder:
What would I love to experience?
Who would I love to become?
What would feel beautiful, meaningful, and true to me?
The art lies in learning to trust what you can see and feel within yourself before it exists in the physical world.
It is the practice of holding your vision with intention, making choices that support it, and allowing it to take shape one small step at a time.
Because we are always creating.
Through the thoughts we repeat.
The emotions we nurture.
The standards we set.
The actions we take.
And the things we choose to believe are possible for us.
The art of creation is not about controlling every detail or knowing exactly how everything will unfold.
It is about becoming an active participant in your own life.
Seeing what could be.
Feeling connected to it.
And gently beginning to bring it to life.
‘‘I love life design.
I love that we have the power to create.
And I love the art of creation.’’
Which is also why I would love to share two exercises with you.
The first one is about feeling what you desire to create.
Everything begins in the mind.
It starts with a thought.
That thought creates an emotion.
And over time, those thoughts and emotions begin shaping the direction of your life.
The second exercise is about making your thoughts and emotions visible.
Because once you’ve thought about something, felt it deeply, and can actually see the life, project, relationship, or version of yourself that feels right for you...
A whole new process begins.
The process of creating.
You step into the art of creation.
Let’s dive in.
Find a quiet moment where you can be alone with yourself.
You may sit somewhere comfortable, close your eyes, and take a few slow, deep breaths.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Release the need to know exactly how everything will happen.
For now, you are not creating a plan.
You are simply allowing yourself to feel.
Think about something you would love to create in your life.
It may be a new project.
A beautiful home.
A loving relationship.
A business.
A different daily rhythm.
A deeper sense of peace.
Or a new version of yourself.
Ask yourself:
What would I love to create?
Do not choose what feels most realistic.
Choose what feels true.
Let the vision slowly form in your mind.
Where are you?
What surrounds you?
What are you doing?
Who are you becoming?
How does an ordinary day in this life feel?
Now, move beyond what the vision looks like and focus on the emotions it creates within you.
Would you feel peaceful?
Free?
Loved?
Proud?
Creative?
Safe?
Inspired?
Supported?
Let yourself experience those feelings now.
Not someday.
Not once everything has worked out.
Now.
Place your hand on your heart and gently repeat:
I am allowed to feel connected to what I desire before it arrives.
I am allowed to believe in what I am creating.
I am becoming the person who can hold this vision.
Stay with the feeling for a few moments.
You do not have to force it.
Even the smallest sense of connection is enough.
Then open your journal and complete these sentences:
I would love to create...
The version of me who lives this life feels...
Her days are filled with...
She believes...
She no longer accepts...
She chooses...
One feeling I can begin embodying today is...
Finally, ask yourself:
What is one small action I can take today that supports this feeling?
If you desire freedom, perhaps you create more space in your day.
If you desire confidence, perhaps you make one brave decision.
If you desire peace, perhaps you slow down before responding.
If you desire creativity, perhaps you give your idea thirty minutes of your full attention.
The action does not have to be big.
It simply has to tell your mind:
This matters to me.
Because creation does not begin when the finished result appears.
It begins the moment you allow yourself to feel connected to it.
The moment you begin thinking, choosing, and moving as someone who believes it may be possible.
Feel it.
Hold it gently.
And let that feeling guide your next step.
Everything begins in the mind.
It starts with your thoughts.
Those thoughts become emotions.
And emotions create energy that moves you toward what you want to build.
Once you’ve allowed yourself to feel connected to what you want to create, there is one more beautiful step you can take.
Give your vision a place to live outside your mind.
Because our thoughts often become clearer when we can actually see them.
The purpose of this exercise isn’t to create the perfect vision board or aesthetic collage.
It is simply to make the invisible a little more visible.
To give your mind something to return to.
Something that reminds you of the direction you’re choosing.
Find a notebook, a blank piece of paper, Canva, Pinterest, or whatever feels most inspiring to you.
Then begin collecting images, colors, words, places, objects, textures, and quotes that represent the life you’re creating.
Don’t overthink it.
Instead, ask yourself:
If my future already existed, what would it look like?
Perhaps you see:
A peaceful home filled with morning light.
Fresh flowers on the table.
A passport.
An airplane window.
Ocean waves.
A writing desk.
Books you’ve written.
People laughing around a dinner table.
A loving relationship.
Healthy meals.
A beautiful office.
A slower morning.
Nature.
Financial freedom.
Art.
Soft clothing.
A notebook full of ideas.
Or perhaps your vision cannot be captured in one single image.
Maybe it’s a feeling.
In that case, choose photographs that make you feel the way you want your life to feel.
Peaceful.
Expansive.
Creative.
Calm.
Alive.
Supported.
Loved.
Joyful.
Now place these images together.
Print them.
Create a digital mood board.
Save them as your phone background.
Place them somewhere you’ll naturally see them throughout your day.
Not to remind yourself of what you lack.
But to remind yourself of what you’re choosing to create.
As you look at your vision, ask yourself:
What thoughts immediately arise?
Which images make me smile?
Which ones make me nervous?
Which ones feel surprisingly familiar?
What part of this already exists inside me?
And what small choice could bring me one step closer today?
Notice how your emotions respond.
Some images may create excitement.
Others may create resistance.
That’s completely okay.
Resistance often reveals where we’re being invited to grow.
Where an old belief is asking to be questioned.
Instead of thinking:
“That’s impossible for me.”
Try asking:
“What if this were possible?”
Allow yourself to become curious.
Because every home, every business, every relationship, every book, every piece of art, and every meaningful life began as something someone could first imagine.
And then slowly made visible.
Spend just one or two minutes looking at your vision each day.
Not to convince yourself.
Not to force anything.
Simply to reconnect.
Take a slow breath.
Notice how your body feels.
Ask yourself:
Who am I becoming?
What feeling would I love to carry with me today?
Then choose one action that aligns with that feeling.
The purpose isn’t to stare at pictures and wait.
The purpose is to gently remind your mind where you’re going, so your daily choices begin supporting that direction.
Little by little.
Choice by choice.
Day by day.
Because what we repeatedly think about...
What we repeatedly feel...
And what we repeatedly move toward...
Gradually becomes the life we create.
Make it visible.
Return to it often.
And allow your vision to quietly become your reality.
Because once you’ve thought about it, felt it, and can actually see it...
The vision becomes more tangible.
It no longer lives only inside your imagination.
It becomes something you can move toward.
Something you can create.
Thank you so much for reading along.
You’re truly appreciated.
Talented.
Capable.
And worthy of everything your heart desires.
Yes, you are.
Loop it, affirm it.
Best,
Jasmin
