[MNHTN] Foraging in Central Park, $15+: 11 am-3 pm. “Central Park, always a great park for foraging, is spectacular on Independence Day.

[MNHTN] Green Oasis Community Garden Volunteer Days: 12-2 pm. “Help local communities as we help cultivate these beautiful community gardens.”

Tuesday | June 30
[BK] Salt Lot Compost Processing with Big Reuse: 10 am-1 pm. “We will be processing food scraps collected from our community drop-offs, maintaining our education corner with smaller compost systems, and taking care of miscellaneous tasks around the site.”
Wednesday | July 1
[MNHTN] PlacePartner Opportunity: Camel Gardens at W 143rd St: 8:30-11 am. “Join us as we steward the garden beds next to Riverbank Playground, which we like to call Camel Playground!”
[MNHTN] PlacePartner Opportunity: Sakura Park and Claremont at W 122nd St: 9 am-12 pm. “PlacePartner Opportunities are weekly/monthly occasions for volunteers to work alongside our field staff and ParkTenders.”
Thursday | Jul 2
[BX] Trail Work Thursdays: 9 am-12 pm. “Be a part of the community effort to maintain the trails in Van Cortlandt Park.”
Saturday | Jul 4
[MNHTN] Stewardship Saturday at Gotham Park (Garden & Clean Up): 10 am-12 pm. “Let’s gather at Gotham Park to garden, clean up litter, and make our community space beautiful together!”
[BK] Compost Volunteer Days: 11 am-1 pm. “Twice a month, our Compost Team will host site days where participants can learn more about the composting process and benefits, and even bring some finished compost home!”
[QNS] Compost, Art, Farm and learn at Rusty Wheelbarrow Farm: 1-4 pm. “You’ll have the chance to work on composting, cultivating the land, planting seeds, tending to the crops, harvesting. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a complete newbie, everyone is welcome!”
Sunday | July 5
[BX] Maria Sola Green Space Volunteer Day: 11 am-5 pm. “We’ll be doing hands-on work to maintain and improve the space all in a welcoming, community-driven environment. It could be planting, weeding, trash pick-up, mulching, composting, pruning, and more.”
