[MNHTN] Street Tree Canopy Care Volunteer Day: 5-7 pm. “Join the Lower East Side Ecology Center to help take care of neighborhood trees by aerating the soil, weeding, removing litter, and applying NYC-made compost and mulch.”

[BK] Salt Lot Compost Processing with Big Reuse: 9 am-12 pm. “Learn about the magic of composting at our newly re-opened mid-scale community compost site!”
[BX] Tune-Up Tuesdays - Garden Volunteer Days: 10 am-1 pm. “Turnip to volunteer and help us take care of our Learning Garden! Volunteers will help care for our garden, maintain compost bins, weed, water, and harvest produce.”

[BK] Canarsie Beach Clean Up: 1-3 pm. “This once small fishing village saw its population boom after WWII and at one time was a major competitor to Coney Island. The Pier and beach remain a hotspot for fishing, paddling and picnics.”
[BK] Community Composting 101 at Tehuti Ma’at Community Garden: 3-5 pm. “Join us to learn the benefits of community composting, how to steward the compost process in Big Reuse’s shiny new cubic yard community compost cubes, and how to get involved in community composting at the fabulous Tehuti Ma’at Community Garden.”
