A comic series, maybe.

I don’t know what I’m doing with this comic! Well, I do, but I don’t know how to like, organize it, or share it. I said last week in this post entitled “Diary Comic” that I was gonna start doing…well, diary comics. I suppose the comic I shared started as that, something I was marinating on at the time, something that felt like a part of my day-to-day living in the moment cause it was heavy on my mind, but I have since realized that I want this to be a series rather than a straight up diary comic. Actually, my idea for this is more like stream of conscious comic-ing on a very specific topic, something I have never done before. I know what I want to say, but don’t exactly know how I want to say it, and I’m allowing myself to figure it out as I go along instead of writing a whole narrative out and then illustrating it, which is how I have worked in the past. This feels like a good exercise for me, for many different reasons.

I feel like I am in a flow state with something untitled and ambiguous, and maybe it’s culmination won’t amount to much, but the journey will.

Should I post the last comic panel before I share a new one so people don’t have to search and find it to catch up? How would you prefer to read individual comic pages that serve a greater narrative but can (hopefully) be consumed on their own?
