I don’t exactly remember where I discovered Future Islands, but Tin Man was the first track that introduced me to them. Since then, they’ve become my favourite band and I’m hoping to see them live one day.

They’ve been called a “synth-pop” band but the sheer breadth of their sound, Sam Herring’s vocal range and his energy on stage puts them in a whole different league.

So here’s my selection of their Top 10 songs. Entirely subjective but nevertheless a tough choice because they have so many great tracks!
