We took a short hike today at Balcary Bay near Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway. The sun was out, the views were excellent. We stopped in at Balcary Bay Hotel afterwards for a quick lunch.

We did the longer of the two routes available around to Rascarrel Bay and Loch Mackie. It took us around two hours, covering around 5km, and this time included several breaks to sit and look at the views.
