LIVE SPECIAL JET SKI PIC GAS PASS

Forgive me, but I’m farting out this week’s post and it’s very short. I’ve been busy preparing for the live comedy special that I’m taping this Saturday July 18th at The Bell House in Brooklyn and other bad excuses.

If you follow me on Instagram and/or have seen me perform live, chances are you have seen a version of the supremely annoying photo of me sitting on a jet ski and looking like a hyper confident douchebag. It was the perfect photo to serve as the foundation for my Substack, and has served me obnoxiously well over the years. Here’s the pristine version:

It’s from my honeymoon back in 2005, as stated on my About page. If you haven’t been to the About page, there’s a couple other dumb fun shots there.

The photo plays a small part in my live special, which is something I had been working on here and there before the pandemic shut things down back in March of 2020. The show also involves a special guest. When I sat down at 7:30 TONIGHT (very late start) and began to write this week’s post, I thought I’d just crank out something super quick about the jet ski photo that I could post before it got too late, as well as giving myself some time to post on Instagram to promote the live taping for my special, etc. But this post just kept getting longer, and I want to write more about the photo and the live special. I will most likely do that next week, or somewhere down the line.

Until then, please enjoy these super unexciting low res shots!!! These are from previous incarnations of the special. You can still make out the jet ski (kind of). I had done the show a couple times in New York and San Francisco, with Scott Adsit, who is doing the live special.
