CAN MEN STOP BEING MEN? (2)

I still get catcalled, I just manage to reduce my visual acuity and walk by very quickly, like my fake hearing problem protects me from their voices. I also pray silently as I do this that they won't try to seek revenge by killing me or assaulting me because the harassment alone is already inhumane.

Nothing has changed. For me and for every woman, every feminine being. People still get bullied for what they hide beneath their skirts or trousers. Women are called prostitutes for not responding to these catcalls. Women are raped for responding or not responding to these catcalls. Feminine men are called "soft" and bullied for merely existing in ways that satisfy them. Women are humiliated for speaking against crimes. And the plea remains, MEN should stop being "Men".

In this case, "Men" is like an attribute. A negative one, obviously. If it was a great one, I wouldn't be begging them to refrain from it.

I've come to notice that men are bullies (wonderful epiphany). They manage to hide this with playful terms

And they do it with no regard for the outcome. I don't know how bullies operate. But at this rate, if Simi commits suicide, they wouldn't care.

Care.

They never care.

The reason why Simi's old outlandish and off-putting tweets are out in public is because they were finding means to bully her because she said, "Stop raping women"” Not because she mentioned any suspicious opinion recently but because she chose to speak up against a recurring evil.

Surprisingly, men got triggered by this and started questioning her about false rape allegations.

"Stop raping women.”

"What about false allegations?"

HOW. DOES. THAT. MAKE. SENSE.

"Stop lying to me,”

"What of the times I say the truth?"

...if you weren't lying, would I be bothered about the times you said the truth?

And that was how it began. If you're against them, you're the enemy. And they'll point and call you witch until you get a public trial where you have no right to defend yourself but enjoy the pain from red flames. So yes, the Salem Witch Trials are still on, just not with real fire.

They started digging and digging till they found dirt. You'd think they cared about the children who those tweets were made about. They don't. They just want to bully Simi. If they ever did, if they ever cared about any of the victims, a perfect justice system would be running to protect these victims.

But they don't care. They just want Simi down to the ground because she said

"Stop raping women.”

And even if she said stfu ...yh what's there...shut the fuck up naani. It's what you say to people making zero sense. Shut the fuck up.

Simi would have to face whatever punishment that comes with whatever crime her tweets fall under.

But guess who wouldn't, the male celebrities who have made worse comments in the past. It's not a competition of whose gender is wild, it's just a pattern. One showing yet again, men are never held accountable for their actions, especially in our country.

My friend said something recently, something about not fighting for gender equality but fighting that women are treated like human beings because men are treated like gods. And it's so true. Men act like Zeus. Fine, he did one good deed, rescued his siblings from their father's stomach. But he was the nastiest God, performing different heinous acts just because he had the power. I don't know what good deeds men have done in the past. Provision. Protection. I don't know, I don't care but that doesn't give them the right or autonomy to a woman's body or her thoughts or her existence in general.

And they have been clamouring for justice, comparing her to some other criminals who were never tried, who roam scotfree with their criminal records, no record because it wasn't recorded by the law, yeah?

Back to the matter, I don't know who to preach to or beg because I have come to a realisation that my opinions, thoughts, and pleas are quite useless in a world i can't control.

But can men stop being men? Can they allow whatever good qualities or attributes they have overshadowed their rapey tendencies?

Rapey tendencies? Yes. Yes. Everyone knows. Every man is seen as a predator.

Not all men, but in the end we're(both women and men) taking precautionary measures to protect ourselves from all men because you never can tell if the man behind you is a psycho who could either murder you or kidnap you and turn you into his free use sex toy.

Men should really stop being men, whatever that is.

I remember the fake pity they were displaying when Dave dropped that one song highlighting the struggles of women when men are being predatory. I knew it was false, and it was only a matter of time before they carried on with it.

My poor lecturer had to delete a tiktok post recently. He did this. "I'm not the blah blah blah. I'm the blah blah blah's friend" trend with his students. All ladies and just him. And the reactions from the video. One weird foolish perverted male was saying something about yansh and comments about how someone's girlfriend is playing with their lecturer.

How? Howwwww???? How do they do it? How do they permit their minds to wander to such restricted territories? From where to where? How did yansh enter the convo? Should they abandon her body part because of a tiktok? There was no form of sexual body language in that video, so how did some sick stupid bastard start assuming perverted things like that? Why was his first instinct to sexualise the women in that video?

And guess what, a thousand other bastards agree with him. How is that possible?????

It has gotten to the extent where these things, these stupid comments, and these sexual thoughts permitted to fly free are seen as normal. The whole " boys will be boys" has morphed into something bigger, something even the law can not control because their crimes aren't considered illegal but a norm for male growth. They do whatever they like, say whatever they please, and no one questions their actions. Then they make you into a slur once they hear you're against these actions or thought processes.

This is the damaged society we live in. Where no one cares about victims of assault. Where mental health is traded for bants. Where women and children are seen as nothing but sexual objects.

I'm out of words and sins to highlight

But if men don't stop being men, we're going to have worse problems in the future.
