🥗 Ingredients

  • Soya chunks- 3/4 cup

For the marinade

  • Coriander leaves (chopped)- 1/2 teaspoon

  • Lemon juice- 1/2 teaspoon

  • Ginger garlic paste- 1/2 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 teaspoon

  • Cayenne pepper / Chilli powder (ground)- 1/2 teaspoon

  • Garam masala powder- 1/2 teaspoon

  • Chaat masala- 1/2 teaspoon

  • Tandoori masala- 1 teaspoon

  • Yogurt- 1 tablespoon (optional)

Method

  1. First, soak the soya chunks in hot water for about an hour. Drain and squeeze the excess water from the soya chunks.

  2. Next, in a bowl add all the ingredients for marination along with the soya chunks. Mix well and marinate for about 1 to 2 hours.

  3. Then heat up a grill and thread the soya chunks onto skewers, grill the marinated soya chunks until they are cooked and get a slight char on the edges. You can also brush the chunks with excess marinade while grilling them.

  4. You can also add cubed veggies (capsicum, onions) in the marinade and grill them along with the soya chunks.

  5. Next, remove them onto a plate and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.

  6. Tandoori soya chunks are ready. Enjoy! :)
