Are you one of the many people across the UK engaged in or interested in ‘inner work’ in response to the climate crisis? If you are doing this kind of work, or would like to learn more, we warmly invite you to join our upcoming Community Calls.
The Inner Climate Response Alliance (ICRA) is an emerging UK-wide network and community of practice that exists to support, uplift and resource those doing the crucial work of holding spaces to process difficult truths, and connecting with honesty and care around the challenge of this historical moment. Our new monthly Community Calls are online gatherings - a space where you can meet the ICRA team and each other; where we can hear your thoughts about what a Community of Practice could look like, how you may be integrating inner work in a diversity of ways, and its significance in responding to the climate crisis and broader polycrisis we face.
If you’re curious but are not sure where you fit in, but are interested in finding out, you are welcome.
There are countless practitioners and communities all over the UK doing some version of this work: coming together through making art or music, in faith practices or in a myriad of other ways - tending to the grief and heartbreak of these times, creating healing through healthy group processes and reciprocal relationships with the land.
ICRA offers infrastructure and support to these people and projects - we are holding a vision of interdependence and connection where everyone engaging in these practices can feel part of a wide and growing movement, where we can connect with and learn from each other, building capacities and facilities to show up in service to life across these islands.
The calls will include
Grounding and connecting exercises
Break out rooms for small group connection and sharing of projects
Harvesting sessions to share dreams and ideas around what the Community of Practice could be
Time to ask questions and hear from the iCRA team.
They will be held by Hannah Leigh Mackie from Climate Psychology Alliance and Harrie Ayliffe from Climate Majority Project, two of the projects in the partnership.
The dates and times for community calls (BST), including links for booking, are:

We look forward to seeing you there.
