I’d go for one of these! The first would be my top pick - very Doen vibes. 1, 2, 3
I’d get the simplest and quietest fan you can find, spray the face of it with a paint adhesive spray and then paint them the same colours as the room so they blend in - that’s what we’ve done (except we didn’t get the quietest fans and I regret it!).
Marble-wise, you will need two things - stone and a fabricator. Your fabricator (I used Granite & Marble) is the person who templates, sources, cuts, seals and installs everything. Find them before you go slab shopping as some yards want to know who you’re working with before they’ll let you view.
Start by browsing online across different stone yards before committing to visits as you could end up shlepping all over. In London it’s worth looking at MGLW, Stoneyard, Stoneworld and Develli, plus Cullifords, which was my personal favourite as the yard is outside and you can see the stone in natural light. That’s where we got ours - I think they have some of the highest quality slabs from what I’ve seen.
Wherever you end up, go in person as slabs within the same block will all vary. Take paint samples with you so you can hold them against the stone as you look. It sounds obvious but the undertones in marble can read very differently once it’s next to your actual wall colour, and you want to be certain before you commit. I ventured all over before finding ours!

He has the Tripp Trapp and it’s great. We’ve spruced it up with a Catchy tray for flailing food and recently added IKEA Trofast drawers that happen to fit the size. This is my reminder to get him a cushion from Grey Fox - can I get away with a ruffle for him?
