The military will obey the president, no matter who that president is. This is something we in America are indoctrinated to believe. Because we believe it in the United States of America, we believe it applies everywhere, despite being told numerous stories about how the notion is not even true here, not under Trump, not under Biden.
We are often oblivious to the assumptions necessarily implied by many of our views, sadly. When we claim that Venezuela has been liberated, we are committed to the assumption that the military would move automatically to follow whoever is called “president” by global media outlets. We are encouraged to take for granted that Venezuela’s entire force (including the civilian militia) is populated with automatons who would just as soon obey a foreign usurper or a puppet of the same, in the same way they would obey a rightful leader, when it cannot even be assured that the military will obey the rightful leader. Somehow, all of this is taken seriously. I mean, look at this captured villain, pictured here in his second outfit of the day.
The Venezuelan military did not choose to take Maduro out themselves. Their participation in the “daring capture” was non-existent, other than peacefully allowing it to happen while knowing it was coming. We are told Maduro’s military obeyed him because he, the “narcoterrorist,” paid his generals (the literally storied “Cartel de los Soles”) drug money, which the indictment tells us is for trafficking cocaine(!!). That is preposterous. Even the New York Times admits that Venezuela had virtually no role in the global cocaine trade—not fentanyl, cocaine. What’s next, we go after the world’s leading producers of quaaludes? Is this 1990? Even the so-called indictment “charging” Maduro with violating U.S. law is focused primarily on the transnational criminal organization and its proxies in Central America with decades of trafficking—the same transnational criminal organization whose donors, NGOs, transnational energy companies, and global banks to whom the Maduro regime was explicitly and legitimately opposed.
The Venezuelan military could have removed Maduro themselves, backed by the U.S. military, and replaced him with Maria Corina Machado, if they supported her or the country supported her. But neither did, despite her Yale past and her two decades spent as Venezuela’s Alexei Navalny—the Russian opposition leader slash Western intel cutout. The Venezuelan military surely could have deposed Maduro in 2024 when he “lost” a fake election (or 2020, etc…) if they did not actually support him. But the money flowing in from a non-existent drug trade kept them all compliant. Though they had the world’s sympathy as well as the Regime’s projection of Maria Hakuna Matata as the legitimate leader—despite not even running in an election— still, the Venezuelan military did not install the people’s champion and Nobel Prize Winner, knowing they would have the U.S.’s backing, as well as that of “the West,” globalist donors, global Zionism, neocons, tech, and transnational corporations.
How is that explained? We’re told it doesn’t have to be. It’s our job, we’re told, to watch the secret white hats do their jobs, to trust the plan, to trust popular accounts on XformerlyTwitter, to trust Fox News certain people on Fox News, etc… All of this is degenerate nonsense that provides no explanation whatsoever while championing an all-encompassing policy of knowledge via the appeal-to-authority fallacy. Powerful strangers on the internet who are popular on censored social media platforms are not the sorts of people anyone should just “trust.” Adults who call themselves American patriots are living their lives according to what their heroes on the Screen tell them to believe (and repeat). How do these self-initiated “digital soldiers” discern secret white hats from secret black hats, while both are pursuing the same goals, using the same tactics? Divination via coded message, anonymously posted on the internet, that only they are equipped to understand.
The Venezuelan military was on Maduro’s side, and now they’re clearly on the side of his second-in-command as she takes over, though she says Maduro is still the rightful leader. Maduro, for his part, is posting Telegram messages featuring a counter of “days of kidnapping.”
As for Trump’s so-called second-in-command, JD! Hamel, he’s out there on the internet providing the moral and legal justifications for the daring capture. Wait... I thought it was the narcoterrorism that funds Venezuela and its military. But here we have the real vice president, JD! Hamel, saying that Venezuelan stolen oil funds the narcoterrorism, as though the international trafficking of drugs is a low-profit-margin business that cannot sustain itself.
Is it possible for a country to steal its own oil? That’s preposterous. Does a prior deal to allow transnational energy corporations to operate in Venezuelan territory tie the hands of every future sovereign leader of that sovereign nation forever? That, too, would be preposterous. Do we expect Venezuela to allow transnationals to steal its resources and exploit its people, bringing them under its system of control and then prevent them from removing the foreign occupation and taking control of the infrastructure it built—infrastructure that is in Venezuela?
The U.S. left Maduro’s second-in-command in place. Delcy Rodriguez pursues the same agenda as Maduro, as part of the same governing contingent, and maintains the same command over the same military—the military that did not fight the American military. Rodriguez says Maduro is still the only legitimate ruler (also noting Zionist involvement in deposing Maduro). One of the leading dunces in America’s neocon Uniparty Right, Tom Cotton, says that he does not recognize Rodriguez as the leader, presumably pining away for Maria Hakuna Matata, in anti-democratic fashion. You know, to save democracy… in another sovereign country.
But instead of working with the U.S. military to install the “true leader of Venezuela” (whoever, that might be… Hakuna Matata?) Venezuela’s military allowed their homeland to be overrun by the United States and is left with no choice but to be “run” by the U.S., in partnership with the same regime already in place (a socially conservative regime, it’s worth noting). Trump has said Rodriguez is ready to do what’s necessary to make Venezuela great again but has warned her that if she doesn’t, there is hell to pay, even more hell than Maduro is paying. Trump said Maria Hakuna Matata will not be installed as ruler because she is not a serious person and does not have the support of the Venezuelan people.
If, as we were conditioned to believe, every military will follow anyone who is called “president,” and Maduro was the world’s most wanted man—scared for his life and of punishment and suffering in prison (or worse!)—why did the Venezuelan military stand down, despite being “ready”? Why didn’t Maduro order them into action in his defense? The might of the U.S. military? No! The flow of cocaine money is what kept the military loyal. Or perhaps they figured they could just surrender the country from the $50 million in U.S. reward money. But if money was their goal, why didn’t the Venezuelan military just take over the oil that funds the narcoterrorism that funds Maduro that funds the military?
It’s all too confusing. At times like this, when the world is too difficult to understand because every story we’re told is incoherent and impossible, that’s when it is best to trust the powerful internet strangers telling us to trust the plan, which requires us to trust that half of the mainstream media is good and true. Trust me, it makes sense. People we are led to believe are intelligent and patriotic really believe it, therefore Unity demands that we submit to their emotional outbursts when the cognitive dissonance reminds them of the incoherence of their worldview. Whose plan is it anyway? Secret white hats, of course, as identified by the people demanding our trust as a function of their trust. Oracles, they are. Divined the plan’s true intentions via following a certain set of powerful strangers on the internet, they have. Trust the plan, I guess. What plan—who cares? The guys in charge of the plan know what the plan is and they’re telling us, honestly, if only we are skilled in decoding their magic spells online by using Kabbalistic number magic to Match posts with mainstream media news stories. Trusting the plan the way the plan-trusters trust it is incoherent.
By the way, if it’s a movie and things are in full control, then what are people cheering? The reaction we’re seeing from the based’n’redpilled is akin to leaving a new James Bond movie and heading to the streets to sincerely celebrate him defeating the enemy and saving the world. Cheering the plan we trust is our role in saving the republic, or at least that’s what the trusters tell us. It’s a movie and Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming, but also the good characters in the movie are genuinely good people who we must support no matter what and the evil characters are real-life villains who we should want to kill. Somehow, people still think this is morally and intellectually coherent. And somehow there is still an audience for this low-hum hocus pocus and retardation.
But why did Trump finally remove to take Maduro out in the first place? The final straw, we’re told—there was too much dancing. For real. America’s storied “paper of record,” the New York Times reports that Trump demanded to be the world’s only dancing dictator. Now, I’m not calling Trump a dictator, but people do call him that. Which people? Many of the same people calling Maduro a dictator. Weird, huh?
Venezuela, we’re told, was backed by Russia and China (our greatest adversaries, but also countries whose leaders Trump happens to call his “friends”). We risked a kinetic WWIII with much of the might of the world’s militaries and their powerful next-generation NOOKlear arsenals combined against us, to take out the guy who was dancing too much, only to replace him with his understudy, who Trump intends to work with.
Thank goodness, Marco Rubio says there is no war against Venezuela.
You know, just like Maduro wanted, back when he was dancing.
Trump is basking in his victory. He wishes we could see it. We would be so impressed, he says. But we’ll probably never be allowed to see it. We just have to trust it happened because everyone says it did and everyone knew it had to. It couldn’t have not happened. Wondering if we’re not being told the whole truth by the people we’re supposed to be trusting is tantamount to treason.
Besides, the people of Florida Venezuela are literally celebrating in the streets because the brutal, illegitimate dictator of Venezuela was finally removed by the good guys. Just like Joe Biden’s supporters on November 7th 2020 when, we are told, Biden’s “election victory” was officially confirmed.
Perhaps it is time we begin asking our “truthers” to meet the minimum standard of being able to define what the word “truth” means.

This segment from Devolution Power Hour was recorded October 18th 2025. In it, I state that Maduro could be removed as a narrative play in the same model as Syria’s Bashar al-Assad.
Updates: I just saw these beautiful pieces of internet content that hammer home how truly real all of it is.
I will keep updating in the Substack chat, but these are too good not to add here.
Rubio on the same regime being left in power, minus the evil dictator, Maduro.
Elections, what elections?
