Where are we? (when shall we return)
Walking until the sounds of busy streets of Savage are drowned by the river rushing alongside an old Mill. Unexpected, massive, patient beech trees rise from the river bank. A short walk from one noise to another, but not enough time. And works in progress. We shall return here.
What colors do we see? (so far)
Tall view: Pilot Iroshizuku inks
Hotaru-Bi: Lightning bug, yellow-green
Ina-Ho: Rice ear, light green-brown
Yama-guri: Wild chestnut, dark brown
What tools are used? (in this first series of sketches)
Antique dip pen, Palomino Blackwing pencil
What supports these works? (will we have more)
Two Rivers handmade, cotton and linen watercolor papers. NOT surface for the tall sketch, and a smoother, softer, laid surface for the pencil
