I am getting ready for our show tonight at Fitzgerald’s, what a relief to play some hometown gigs and not have to fly or drive 8 hours anywhere! Tomorrow I will see all you Chicago folks who couldn’t snatch tickets for tonight at the Square Roots Festival.
Next Friday I will be opening up the night for Twisted Teens at Sleeping Village playing a stripped down duo set with my friend and old band mate Howe. I am nervous! I think that’s a good sign.
I’ve been listening to a lot of music, eating my weight in cherries from the farmer’s market, and going on long bike rides in the blazing heat. I hope wherever you are you are feeling a little bit of summertime bliss.
