The book is published and available now, but, since I’m still in France Kristin and I are planning a big Launch Party on September 23, 2026 from 6:30-7:30 New York time.
My paper, “Psychotherapy Integration from the Bottom Up” was a first in proposing a comprehensive, cohesive explanation of psychotherapy, based on common observations and science rather than tradition. The new book, described as “A modern, integrative guide to how psychotherapy actually produces change,” is important because it shows how to apply the bottom up framework to practical decisions about what needs to happen next in therapy and how to make it happen.
Designed with the practicing therapist or trainee in mind, it is readable by anyone interested in how people can change those automatic but maladaptive responses that cause humans so much trouble and which psychotherapy is designed to treat.
But the party is about celebration, tasting the joy of succeeding in bringing the book to light. It’s been a process that started long before the writing began. At the party Kristin and I will have lots of fun things in store, so please save the date. We’ll send reminders. You can reserve your place right now and receive a special book discount code.
