november is always an evil little month. from the moment i awaken, the dark is biting at the day. by 4 p.m it has devoured all sunlight and whatever plans i had to venture outside and be a creature of the world have been swallowed up by the silence of my block. not a soul is to the leave their apartment, the season of soup and seclusion is upon us!
so yes, i’ve spent the majority of the past month holed up inside my crypt. not only is this time of year real boo radley hours, but it’s also when i get hit with a bad case of the morbs. between two death anniversaries and critically low vitamin d, my days consist mostly of grieving, journaling, and drinking plenty of tea. when i must venture out into the elements, i opt for the simplest, coziest outfits i own. the more i look like a ring wraith the better.
