He had his own unique way,
He has his own unique way,

He was unfaithful,
He is unfaithful,
Unfaithful he will always remain.
Can anyone who is truly like that
Ever really change?
Habits can always be molded and bent,
But nature can never be changed.
What I once was,
And what I am today,
The exact same I will always stay.
Expecting loyalty from the faithless kind
Is a grave and terrible mistake of the mind.
I made this very mistake,
Yes, this fault was mine to bear,
Yet I am no longer the one
Who silently bore all despair.
The joys of this life,
Its beauty and grace,
And the ease that it brings..
I deserve them just as much as you.
So... if ever you wish to return back to me,
Think it over long and deep.
That I was ever yours
Was a mistake I used to keep.
Now, I love myself and hold my own hand..
This is my identity, grand and free,
And the start of a brand new life for me.
