Dear Friends,

This past week has been an incredible whirlwind. My eighth novel, Every Lie I Told, was published by Blackstone last Tuesday, and I celebrated with my friend Rob Hart — who was launching his new novel — at the Mysterious Bookshop in New York City:

The next morning, I flew to Houston for an event at Murder by the Book with Nishita Parekh.

Thursday, I hit Mysterious Galaxy in San Diego for an event with Matt Coyle:

On Friday, I had an event with my dear friend David Slayton at the Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale, Arizona:

Saturday, it was the Tattered Cover in Denver, for an event with my friend Linda Joffe Hull:

And guess what? I’ve got more events this week!

Wednesday, June 24th, from 12:30pm-1:45pm: Bryant Park Author Series, New York City. I’ll be on a panel with Camille Perri (author of Social Animals) and Connor Martin (author of The Silver Fish). Our moderator will be actress and podcaster Ilana Levine, so this is going to be FUN. Free event, open to all; details here.

Thursday, June 25th, from 5pm-7pm: Ben McNally Books, Toronto. This is the Canadian launch of Every Lie I Told, and there’s nothing like a hometown crowd. I’ll be in conversation with my friend Kerry Clare, bestselling author of Definitely Thriving. Free event, open to all; details here.

There have been so many reviews and amazing summer-reading lists and social-media posts showcasing Every Lie I Told, and I’m so grateful for all of them.
