Windsor High School quarterback AJ Robinson has won the Walter Camp Connecticut High School Football Player of the Year award. Robinson is the first Windsor High School football player to win the award since it’s inception in 2007.
As a senior, Robinson led Windsor to a Class MM State Championship when the Warriors took down Bunnell 23-13. In addition to winning a State Championship, Robinson amassed over 8,000 career passing yards this season becoming only the fifth quarterback in Connecticut high school football history to do so.
This past season, Robinson was also nominated multiple time as the NFP Sports High Impact Football Player of the Week and he’s been named as the quarterback for the Walter Camp All Connecticut First Team Offense.
Next year, Robinson will continue his career with the home state Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils. Congratulations, AJ!
