Over the past few months, we kept hearing from caseworkers about how long it takes them to produce chronologies (or ‘executive summaries of time series data’). Recent inquiries have also highlighted how critical these can be:

We are looking for co-design partners to help us design and develop an AI-powered auto-drafting tool, Chronologies.AI
If a chronology could be created automatically and accurately, it would free up time for social workers. By providing a concise and regularly updated overview of each child’s journey, it could also improve service provision.
To make Chronologies a reality, we hope to collaborate with social services teams and other organisations that look after vulnerable service users.
There are a number of stages of engagement. All are useful, and you can withdraw at any stage:
Stage 1: Initial conversation (45 mins, confidential, no commitment)
Stage 2: Workshop (explore desired features, workflows, what good looks like)
Stage 3: Data governance process
Stage 4: Prototype testing and feedback
