Six Days, Two Suitcases, and Far Too Many Books

Hi friends,

In six days, I’ll be boarding a plane.

The bags aren’t packed yet, my to-do list is somehow getting longer instead of shorter, and I’m currently pretending there’s a perfectly reasonable way to choose which books deserve precious suitcase space. It’s a problem every reader understands. You tell yourself you’ll be sensible... and then somehow you’re negotiating with your luggage over one more paperback. Plus, I have several last-minute book bundle pre-orders to fit in as well!

This trip has been on the calendar for months, and now it’s suddenly real.

I’ll be spending a little time in Sweden before heading to England, and I have a feeling there’ll be plenty of writing tucked into café corners, airport lounges, and quiet mornings before the day properly begins. I’ve always loved writing while traveling. New places have a funny way of shaking loose ideas that were hiding just out of reach.

I have a feeling this trip will send me home with more stories than souvenirs.

The part I’m most excited about?

I’ve been looking forward to this event for such a long time, and thanks to my lovely friend Karin, who’s local and helping me navigate everything, it’s finally almost here.

By the time I’m unpacking my suitcase and wondering why I packed three sweaters I never wore, The Love Curse audiobook will almost be here.

It releases on August 11, and I’m genuinely excited for you to experience this story in a completely new way. Hearing Mills and Cal’s journey brought to life is a little surreal, even for me.
