What the August 2026 Eclipses Bring to Light Politically (Both out of view and in plain Sight)

Some of my best predictive readings are the ones around the eclipses. The eclipse reading for September 2025 predicted a high-profile funeral that would consume our attention and a focus on a widow. That reading was posted just hours before Charlie Kirk was shot. And the eclipse reading in Feb. 2026 predicted the oustings/exits of Pam Bondi, Kristie Noem, and Tulsi Gabbard. All were gone by mid-May. It predicted the instant karma situation with the USA male hockey team, loss of MAGA voters and influencers we saw break from Trump after the Iran war, the alien disclosure files as a distraction for the Epstein files, and the fake terror alert that would panic civilians—closing the El Paso air space for no valid reason but blaming it on a false terror “threat.” It grounded all commercial and medical flights. However, after a few hours of panic, the order was lifted.

In this reading, I wanted to take a look at the upcoming solar eclipse on Aug 12, 2026 and the lunar eclipse on Aug 27-28, 2026. We don’t always see what’s being activated and what’s unfolding in real-time, so I like to look at what’s being stirred up in plain view AND beneath the surface. I’m looking at both the August eclipses in this one reading as the eclipses come in pairs and usually have shared themes.

The top row of this spread is what we will see happening in public view for what is unfolding at that time (Aug. 12, 2026-Aug. 28, 2026). And the second row shows us what we won’t see yet but what we need to know is unfolding during the eclipses behind the scenes and out of view. Usually these are events that we will see or learn about weeks after this point in time. I like to get a sneak peek at what is to come so we can be as prepared as possible.

The two oracle cards on the sides and on the last row just offer more context. The oracle card on the left goes along with the cards on the top row and the card on the right goes with the second row. The two oracle cards at the bottom give more information about both rows (both what is happening before our eyes and behind the scenes).

With The Two of Swords, the word “stalemate” came to mind immediately. We all knew that ceasefire wasn’t going to last long. I’m writing this up in mid-July and Trump just started bombing Iran again and said now he doesn’t want to deal with them because he’s frustrated that no deal has been met. The great “deal maker” has yet to make a deal where war is concerned. We are back where we started—at a stalemate.

In these eclipse spreads, whenever the Two of Swords does pop up (like it did here) I like to point out that this is one of my eclipse cards because you see the moon over the woman, especially in this Dark Mansion Tarot version. Here, you see the moon reflected in the water, so technically, we see it twice in this card. It always draws my eye to it.

The Two of Swords loves to come up in these eclipse readings to remind us that there’s something during the eclipse that we can’t see that by the end of the eclipse will most likely be brought to light. Whatever was eclipsed before will be in full view after the eclipse concludes. So, that blindfold will drop and our eyes will be opened. Always keep that in mind. That’s why I like to read on the eclipses as a pair and to look at the entirety of the eclipse period. There’s an arc there that transpires that gifts us illumination on what we must pay attention to. I’m always laser focused on what will be unveiled/revealed at this time. Eclipses always shake things up, but they also bring about much needed change. I feel they are always pushing us in the direction that we need to go in, and they give us that extra push to give us the momentum needed to get there. That’s why I get excited once eclipse season arrives! It’s a catalyst!

Here, I feel Trump’s deceit in how he is trying to keep us distracted so we don’t uncover his secrets is what will be unveiled in this eclipse season. I see this with this entire top row. The 7 of Cups represents obvious propaganda/gaslighting that was used to cover up secrets. This card is clearly representing distraction strategies used by Trump and his administration to keep our attention from what he wants to hide. More wars and more bombing to keep our eyes off the closet storing the skeletons he is trying desperately to keep in the dark. He’ll do anything to pull our attention and keep us preoccupied—the ole Razzle Dazzle ‘em trick.

With the Seven of Cups on the same line as this Deceit oracle card, I see this clearly as an intentional distraction put forward to the public to keep us oblivious to his dirty deeds, BUT this deceit becomes obvious during eclipse season and will backfire on the people that are trying to pull one over on us (Trump/Vance/Miller, etc). And people will start to see more choices than they saw before because I’m looking at that figure in the 7 of Cups who is window shopping. There’s seven choices in front of him. Sometimes these choices are to distract us, but also we need to remember that the message that comes with the 7 of Cups is to NOT let temptation or an abundance of choices or interests bog us down and distract us from what we need to focus on. So, the message is to pick one choice and stick with it and become focused on that one area/interest/topic to see movement and progress in that area. It’s a warning that you’re being distracted!! So, these deceitful strategies will backfire on whoever’s doing this behind the scenes (most likely Trump).

Another thing I’m picking up here is that once people begin to see how Trump is manipulating them, they will start to see more choices before them than they saw before, which is a good thing, especially with midterms coming up. They may begin to consider other parties/candidates when it comes time to cast their vote. I saw this in the MAGA reading I did in June by the way on the paid tier.

With this card, I see people in the news saying they didn’t see his lies/deception before but now they see it. I’m hearing “I was once blind but now I see.”

The young figure in the 7 of Cups is also facing toward the High Priestess (secrets) and away from the blind folded figure in the 2 of Swords. MAGA voters are waking up, and its due to the Epstein files and the effort to kept them hidden! And even recently I saw many calling BS on the Mitch McConnell cover up. They’re sick of being lied to, and many of the tricks that worked once before no longer have that same sway.

Notice, there’s a ghost in one of these cups in the window in this version of the 7 of Cups (shown above) and that usually represent Spirit or our higher selves/souls. But in this card, the ghost is Epstein. That’s coming through pretty clearly, so the secrets are around Epstein and Trump’s attempts to hide them are going to come on unraveled and unveiled during the eclipses in August.

With the Deceit and Two of Swords card combo, he’s been pulling the rug over MAGA’s eyes, especially with that 7 of Cups, which is my propaganda card. He’s been throwing up flashy shiny new “Breaking news” stories in front of us to keep our eyes focused on what he wants us to look at and away from the area where he’s scheming the most. He’s adopted the Steve Bannon “Flood the zone” strategy, which is why we all feel a level of exhaustion we’ve never experienced before. BUT for the first time, I see that the burden of having to do this 24/7 is FINALLY taking a toll on Trump. The toll of carrying those secrets on his back are finally beginning to show up in his life/health with that 10 of Wands, which is why he’s hunched over in that image.

Since the Deceit card from the Oracle of Echoes is here with this top row, this is how I know people will turn from Trump DUE to his deceit and his efforts to hide information that makes him look bad. I’m reading the first line of tarot cards through the lens of this oracle card. It gives me the focus of the message the top row is trying to convey.

The Deceit card says, “It comes like a thief in the night. It shatters our beliefs and sometimes friendships. It’s unexpected yet we are bewildered and don’t understand how we couldn’t see it coming. Sure, we know who the culprit is. Prepare yourself to be tricked, someone is around you that cannot be trusted.”

Some of his followers will feel angry that they were duped, but they will begin to distance themselves further from him as more and more information comes out about his blocking of the Epstein files. I’ve always seen this information coming out one way or another, and the High Priestess is here once again assuring us that all those secrets will be unearthed. Details about those secrets that will be revealed was the topic of the reading I did on July 10^th on what the Tower is for Trump and his admin for the summer months (July-Sept. 2026). That was a very eye-opening reading.

Before we move on to the High Priestess, do you see all those dark, toxic cords around this trickster figure in the Deceit card (shown above)? This is what Trump’s energy always feels like to me, which is why I try only to feel into his energy when I’m doing readings, and even then, I keep a healthy distance. I try to cut those cords other times because it’s such an icky feeling. If you try to feel into Trump’s energy, he reaches back. Just beware. He leeches off anyone who will allow him to. Cut him off and starve him from the energy he needs to feed on. It will help to get rid of him quicker. He will fade away without the fuel he requires, which is attention (both negative and positive attention).

This High Priestess on the top row represents secrets either coming to light or that we hear more about a cover up of secrets or hiding evidence/information. Or secret documentation coming to light or being sought out. This could be related to Katie Phang requesting documentation from Todd Blanche at the Dept. of Justice that was once kept from us even though it was made a law that those documents should have been released in full (Epstein files), At the time of the August eclipses, we could see results from that case that Katie Phang has brought against Blanche. This could even be recordings that are released like recordings taken in the situation room from when Bondi, Vance, Patel, etc. met to talk about how to handle the release of the Epstein files in a way where they could shield Trump in the process. And it could also be leaked conversations about Trump’s decline by his staff/admin. I see that with the High Priestess paired with the 10 of Wands.

This High Priestess could also represent Israel, which works on the down low/under the radar but has its hands in everything (Netanyahu). There’s a lot connected to this High Priestess—she’s pulling my focus on this top row. She has secrets she’s ready to spill!

I also see a connection with the blind-folded figure in the Two of Swords and the High Priestess who sees beyond the veil! With both being in the same row, I’m interpreting this as—what Trump tries to hide will come out because the High Priestess sees ALL. She rises above the situation to see every aspect of it—the known and the unknown. As the mystic archetype, she has access to information the masses don’t. We will be like the High Priestess during this eclipse season—we will see all and nothing can cloud our sight once the eclipse has peaked. Her third eye is WIDE open!

I alluded to this earlier, but we will definitely see evidence of Trump’s rapid decline with this 10 of Wands. The figure is hunched over in this card, carrying a load on his back that is too heavy for him, and he will break under it.

I’m also now noticing the figure is hunched over/has a hunched back in BOTH the 10 of Wands AND the 10 of Swords. Even in the Deceit oracle card, the smirking figure appears hunched on his left side by the shoulder. With these cards and especially when considered with the Balance card in that third row, I see this all as an obvious physical decline with Trump during August. Even the Symbiosis card in the third row has a hunched quality to the 2 figures morphing into each other—very strange. This all really stood out to me! I think we will see him hunched over with a noticeable difference to his posture. It will be much poorer than in the past. He may even have trouble sitting up or staying awake (more than usual). It’s going to become more pronounced, and more people will be pointing it out, especially in August.

And with this High Priestess in combination with the 10 of Wands, we will likely hear more details about Trump’s health that was kept secret before. So far things have been leaking out gradually, but we will hear more—like a dam that’s finally breaking open. I’m hearing, “Like water leaking through a dam.” Like with all the stories coming out from the book release, Regime Change. His administration is about to start leaking like a sieve. This happened in his first term too.

The 10 of Wands is a card for a difficult cycle ending. I’m picking up the working class here that is fed up that inflation and rising costs have crippled them, and Trump is doing NOTHING to help with prices/inflation/wages. It’s causing them to break with Trump before midterms.

I’m getting the song “She works hard for the money” for the working class that is coming through here. I’ve bolded the lines of the lyrics that stand out to me that is related to this message.

She works hard for the money

She works hard for the money

I met her there in the corner stands

And she wonders where she is

And it’s strange to her

Some people seem to have everything

Nine a.m. on the hour hand

And she’s waiting for the bell

I see them breaking with him due to the stress it’s putting on their households. They are working around the clock with this 10 of Wands, carrying as many wands as they can on their backs, but they are about to hit a breaking point. They don’t see how they can continue with prices rising and no relief coming—relief that was promised by Trump on day 1.

This is the weight of all the promises broken from all the way back in 2015 when Trump first came on the scene. They’ve put up with a lot from him and had to eat a lot of crow when he made them look like fools for carrying his water. But this 10 of Wands feels final. It’s the end of carrying him on their backs. They are ready for change, and they have taken all the lies they are going to take. I’m hearing, “This is the end of the road.”

Oh, we’ve seen this Fool before in this exact same situation (card 1 of the 2^nd row in the February 2026 eclipses reading. And I’d like to note that in that eclipse reading the 2 of Swords was also the first card out in the top row and the Deceit card also showed up in that spread, so that’s 3 repeat cards in this August eclipse reading from that Feb. 2026 eclipse reading. We have these themes continuing to play out with this next pair of eclipses. There’s something that began then that will come full circle in August. Keep an eye out for that. The Iran War started around that time! And some of Trump’s health issues that were plaguing him then could be leaked this go round.

This second row represents what we can’t see—things going on behind the scenes that the cards think we should know about. Once again, Trump is acting like a Fool when the cameras are off (even more of a fool than what we’ve seen). And it has his staff/admin shook.

This Fool card shows that stories will begin leaking out about Trump acting like a bumbling fool with dementia. More and more of these stories will begin to come out as his staff leak to the press because they are alarmed by his behavior. And I’m noticing the dog yanking the rope around the Fool’s waist in this card, pulling him back from the ledge. This makes me think stories will come out later of staff stopping him from either making a fool of himself or pulling him back from drastic measures that would have been catastrophic.

Someone has been containing his worst impulses believe it or not. This feels like when we heard that Trump floated the idea of fortifying the U.S.–Mexico border with moats stocked with alligators in his first term, and his staff pulled that idea so it would never see the light of day because it was so insane. Of course, that story came out later when a member of his administration published a book. The same could happen here.

This Fool card is on the row where it’s happening out of our sight, so we won’t hear about this at the moment it happens. We could have some staff keeping these stories secret until their future books come out. But, the cards are letting us know that this is what is happening when the cameras are off at the White House. He is unraveling, and they all KNOW it!

In the Fool card, I’m wondering if this dog in the card is Rubio, and if he has tried to pull back on any of Trump’s most harebrained ideas. I wonder that because Rubio got the “Not my monkeys, not my circus” card in his reading last year that is here on this row, and I’m just wondering if Trump has gone too far in his mind.

Rubio just feels like he’s fed up here. Looks like we’re gonna hear a lot more about infighting with him and other admin members. Rubio might not see eye to eye with people like Vance and maybe even Miller or Hegseth. Feels like those clashes are going to leak out from this time period. Again, it may be delayed since it comes after the eclipses, according to this row.

And if there are any leaks, Vance is my number one suspect. He probably believes he benefits from Trump being seen as a fool/clown, but in reality he’s too linked with him now to try and untangle himself from him in order to try and run as a rational/reasonable counterpart to Trump’s deranged/demented mind. As they say, he already has Trump’s stink on him.

With the Knight of Swords, I always pick up Hegseth. And combined with the 3 of Wands (the card for expansion), this looks like plans to expand in the area of war. The Knight of Swords is facing the same way as the Fool, and to me, this is an increase in war planning and an increase in bombing that appeases Trump’s egomaniac tendencies. This, of course, could be an increase in an escalation with Iran after the cease-fire has fallen apart, and it could even be an increase in war plans on a NEW front since it comes with the Fool, which symbolizes something new and beginning a new project/venture. This could be their plans to invade Cuba or some other country they have their sights set on. This is in the row where it is happening out of our awareness, so we won’t see this or hear of it until maybe weeks later. But talk or plans of this expansion will occur here.

There are some people splitting with Trump over this though because of the “Not my monkeys, not my circus” card from Postcards from the Liminal Space, and some people will be packing their bags and moving on from him.

I can see that in the Three of Wands card with the figure that has her bags packed, and she’s looking away from us as if she is leaving. And since there’s seven monkeys in this “Not my monkeys, not my circus” card, there could be at least seven people leaving the administration or even breaking from Trump in Congress (meaning they are voting against him on war powers measures/bills).

I’ll be looking for seven people possibly here, and we might not see it for a while because this is in the row of what is happening at the time of the eclipse but that we won’t see until later. It might be something we see in September. I think Congress is usually off in August anyway, so this makes sense.

I also keep picking up Trump planning to flee, so that 3 of Wands card could be him thinking about it or planning an escape for the future. It could also be Kushner and Ivanka planning to flee, too. Something about the woman in this card reminds me of Ivanka. It’s probably the trunks she’s carrying her stuff in.

This expansion of war/bombing escalation seems to lead to the 10 of Swords at the end of this row (an ending and painful wounding), and I’m thinking this is because all of this is happening right before the midterms!!

I feel like Netanyahu is mixed up in all of this. I pick him up in that top row with that High Priestess, and he’s pushing Trump so far that this war Bibi wanted is gonna have major consequences for Trump and his entire administration for the midterms. And if there is an election coming for Netanyahu (around October or before), that could backfire on him as well.

If the Dems win the House AND Senate, Trump’s presidency is effectively over. And if Vance takes over at any point to finish Trump’s term, he will be stuck, too. Nothing will get passed. Trump’s in for a world of disappointment here. And that is going to be clear to him very soon. Midterms are only 3 months away, and many voters will start early voting in late September so it will be here before you know it.

With this 10 of Swords, we have another ending here like in the 10 of Wands from the top row, but this one feels more personal to Trump. There are people who will betray Trump, and it’s going to hurt! These are people close to him. And with the “Not my monkeys, not my circus” oracle card for this row, this feels like congress members distancing themselves from Trump to try and save themselves at midterms. Could even be Vance, Rubio and Bibi creating distance or planning to in order to save what they think is their political future.

Of course, they are all too entangled with him, but they are delusional enough to think that they can wash his stink off them. They won’t be able to. This wounding in this 10 of Swords is as much for those wielding the swords as it is for their intended target (Trump). By stabbing him in the back, they are severing any chance they have at a political future. But there’s really nothing they can do to save face at this point, so why not have them take a shot at “King Trump.”

With this “Not my monkeys, not my circus” card here that also came up in Marco Rubio’s reading last year, I’m definitely seeing Rubio doing something to either take a step back or to try and set himself apart from Trump and maybe even Vance. Rubio thinks he has a shot at running in 2028. He’s gonna want to protect that path. Vance is clearly too enmeshed with Trump. He won’t be able to separate himself. But both these men will try.

“Not my monkeys, Not my circus” says, “The current drama will produce entertainment and take up a fair amount of time and space. It is not real or yours, but the consequences will be. Consider when the show packs up and moves on without you—will you be okay with the choices made now? Involving yourself in this story is not to your benefit.”

Wow! Sounds like it is a win-win for the opposition to Trump. We will get a front row seat to Trump’s downfall as well as watching those who stab him (metaphorically) receive the same wounding in return. Trump’s going to make sure to grab them all and drag them to Hell with him. Going to be a great show. Lots of drama! We don’t want to miss it.

Looking at the third row, there is a common thread with these three oracle cards of balance and of working in tandem because we have the Balance card from the Oracle of Echoes, the Hand in Hand card from Visions in the Liminal Space and the Symbiosis card from the Oracle of Echoes. There’s a duality here as well as harmony, camaraderie, and collaboration. For the rest of the spread, there’s a lot of solo cards showing chaos and infighting, but with these oracle cards, there’s more teamwork and unity. That makes me think this row is for the collective! We have two hands reaching out for one another and two faces merging together, so I’m picking up duality and balance here that brings peace.

I’m reading this as the universe is trying to bring about a balance to everything that we’ve had going on, and there’s something about this pair of eclipses that’s going to kick this energy off of trying to bring us back into balance. We might not see evidence of this till later, but it will be something that was sparked during these August eclipses that we can later point to. You may even feel the shift before you can see the evidence of it in the real world.

For the “Hand in Hand” card, I’m hearing “as above so below,” and that we have help from beyond to try to usher in this balance that I’m seeing throughout this third row. I’m also noticing the other 2 cards in the rest of the spread that talk about balance and duality that go with these 3 cards—the Two of Swords and the High Priestess. This combination of cards says that everything is connected, and everything has a purpose, even when we can’t see it. But in the end, we will be able to see all the threads and how they wove together throughout this time to get us where we are destined to end up.

Also, with the Balance and “Hand in Hand” card combo, I’m seeing something regarding Trump’s hands and feet. They may be swollen and appear to have fluid retention. With this balance card, he may even fall, either in public or we will hear about it. We may even begin to hear about what is being used to keep Trump balanced so to speak. I’ve always gotten that they’ve been using transfusions to try and keep him stable but that they wouldn’t be able to keep him balanced for long.

Someone may even crossover the veil with this High Priestess and the “Hand in Hand” card as well as the Fool, 10 of Swords, and 2 of Swords.

At this moment as I write this up (mid-July), we are suspecting that Mitch McConnell may be between worlds if he is on life support as many have guessed. He may have even passed on already, and there could be a cover up occurring. That is certainly in line with the energy of eclipses. Our vision of Mitch’s health status is certainly eclipsed at the moment. It’s been a solid month as of this writing that he has been out of the public eye with no proof of life. Something about his story is showing up here even though that story may be known by the time this reading publishes.

If it’s not him, it could be foretelling of another leader clinging to life and preparing to crossover somewhere around the eclipses. Lindsay Graham just passed a few days ago as I write this, and deaths of prominent figures tend to come in threes. So, that could be something occurring between now and the eclipses that will be playing out at that time. It could even be fallout from those deaths, such as not having the votes in the Senate to get through any meaningful legislation (another blow to Trump).

With the “Hand in Hand” and the Symbiosis cards on the 3^rd row, I’m picking up the relationship between Trump and Netanyahu. We may see what Bibi has on Trump or people may start to awaken to the fact that Bibi must have something that he is using over Trump to get what he wants with this Iran war. People will see this partnership as what brought Trump’s admin to such a low. Something during the eclipses could be revealed about their deal or their relationship. People will see through Bibi’s and the Israeli’s propaganda and how he deceived and manipulated us all. This is going to end disastrously for Trump with that 10 of Swords. We will see the strain that sticking with Bibi has had on Trump with that 10 of Swords AND 10 of Wands. Other unknown allies of Trump may be revealed that we didn’t know about during this time as well.

Symbiosis says, “Two souls, male and female, yin and yang, flow and unite in the guise of an infinity symbol. Through the balance of opposing forces, harmony and peace are achieved. When this card surfaces, a period of collaboration and cooperation arrives.”

Beyond biology, the term “symbiosis” is used to describe any interdependent relationship between people, businesses, or organizations that rely on equally shared support. A cooperative relationship. I’m feeling this is related to political powerhouses. This is giving the vibes of Trump, Putin, and Netanyahu being linked and corded to the point that they may pass within months of each other, bringing balance and peace back to the world.

These 3 leaders are waging war, dividing the world, and greedily hording the world’s wealth and resources. We are headed for a total reset when these 3 pass. Who will be the first of the three to go? I’ve always felt Putin could go first with Trump not far behind (within months).

I can also see a message here for us about uniting with foes (unlikely allies) to achieve a goal in August when these eclipses occur.

There is a sense of finality to this spread with that 10 of Wands AND 10 of Swords. Both of those cards are coming at the end of their respective rows. It feels like we are working up to a conclusion, which is an end of this difficult cycle. Both those cards carry that same meaning. I think midterms are going to help us feel like the worst of the Trump Era is over, which is a message I’ve already received (that we made it over the hump).

Notice we also have two 2s in the top row with the Two of Swords and the High Priestess (card 2 in the tarot). This signifies balance and duality, which is mirrored again with the three oracle cards at the bottom of the spread (Balance, Hand in Hand, and Symbiosis). All bring a sense of harmony, balance, and working together. Very positive message and symbology here! There’s a lot to look forward to with this pair of eclipses coming very soon.

The Dark Mansion Tarot, Oracle of Echoes

I have a podcast called Healing Thru Tarot where I teach how I read the cards. Healing Thru Tarot Episode 4 looks at the Celtic Cross Spread, Episode 30 talks about creating custom spreads, and Episode 59 discusses the using tarot spreads versus freeform readings.

Then I have episodes dedicated to learning the card meanings - the major arcana in a 2 part Fool’s Journey series, an episode a piece for exploring the court cards in all 4 tarot suits, and an episode on the aces in the tarot suits.

It’s a prequel of sorts but can stand alone because it chronicles one of the past witch lives of the main characters in The Divining Sisters Series. If you want to read all my novels, I would suggest reading them in the order I wrote them starting with Book 1 in The Divining Sisters Series – The Call of the Cards. I say that because I think it’s more fun and interesting to discover the past lives as the characters discover them on their awakening journey. But if you aren’t sure if you want to commit to a series, you can read Here There Be Witches on its own. I wrote it to be able to be a stand alone novel for that reason.
