The House of Windsor (prior Saxe-Coburg-Gotha ) was established in 1917, mainly to distance itself from the German heritage due to a wave of anti-German sentiments after the First World War, but it all came crashing down when Edward VIII chose love (or lust) over duty and abdicated in 1936. The country had not seen such a scandal with the government declaring it would resign leading to a constitutional crisis if Edward didn’t abdicate if he chose to marry Wallis Simpson.
Edward VIII had bargaining power as a former King, and the sale of Balmoral and Sandringham gave him the edge when he requested retaining a HRH style and to hold a ducal title (Duke of Windsor). He’d wanted the HRH for his wife, but that was rejected, but even to this day with the Harkle saga, why does Harold, like Edward consider it so important? Behind closed doors, staff were instructed to use the HRH style with Wallis, and today we see Harold and TW using the HRH sneakily whenever they can (not stripped as yet, but they are not permitted to formally use it, and why would you use it informally?) I guess it’s all about status, but Edward had Nazi sympathies which made him dangerous to Britain, and Wallis herself appeared to have dubious friendships that were also considered dangerous to the nation.
Back to the present day where the ship had settled down with the reign of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and the House of Windsor sailed smoothly for more than 60 years. But then Andrew chose unwise friendships and business deals with an ex-wife who was involved in far too many scandals and embarrassing situation to mention, and Harold had the misfortune of meeting TW who pursued him and would find a way ‘to close the deal’ somehow.
The ship began to veer off course with Sarah Ferguson’s antics, but then Andrew’s arrogance and poor choice of friendships and business partners took the same direction. Did his brother, King Charles III really need to strip him of his Prince title after Andrew had already given up all his titles and honours and stepped back from public life? Did C3 merely cave into media pressure or from the government as I can tell you the majority of the People at large really didn’t care. The People care about the destructive government that is turning the country into scenes from Orwell’s 1984, while claiming they are serving the People. They ain’t and that’s a fact.
To formally remove a birth Prince of his ducal title and his birth name/title is quite a historical move to make with an Act of Parliament, and what exactly for? Embarrassing behaviour that is a distraction for the work of the RF? Andrew has been accused of various things (sexual relations with a teenager who was over the age of consent), but none have been criminal acts as far as we know. It turns out that some victims have stated that Andrew’s accuser (Virginia Roberts Giuffre) recruited them and trafficked them, but the media can’t be bothered to listen to their stories as it doesn’t suit their narrative to take Andrew down. Of course the anti-monarchist Republicans have been pushing for this and they are the only ones who wanted it. Andrew losing his titles and honours affects absolutely no one in the public because he had stopped used them.
So, how about Harry? Well, his book Spare, attacked members of the RF and the monarchy, and interviews with Oprah and his Apple series, he accused his parents and grandparents of generational ‘abuse’ and then there was the race card, and conspiracy theories that several members of the RF plotted to kill his mother. Those can be considered a betrayal of the Crown, and to attack the spouse of the monarch is also an act of treason (accusing his step-mother of plotting to become the Queen by deceitful means).
But what about the dubious financial activities within the charities Harry has been associated with (director, patron, and PSC). Sussex Royal (became MWX Foundation prior to be dissolved so that Sussex Royal could be used as a company name again) and was liquidated before having to file any accounts. Sources (under OSA) have said that there were unexplained irregularities with the accounts and invoices submitted by the Harkles to various royal accounts when audited, hence why the Harkles were removed from The Royal Foundation. In real life, some people might call that fraud and it’s quite common with founders of a charity or company who think they can get away with certain activities because of their status. Often it is brushed under the carpet with the sums being repaid in full and those involved suddenly resigning or ‘stepping back’ officially.
Sentebale is a charity that Harry founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. We all know that they both resigned as patrons of the charity in March 2025, when Sophie Chandauka, the Chair of the Board took legal action to stop the Board from firing her, and requested the Charity Commission to open a regulatory compliance case to investigate governance issues. The compliance case was concluded in August 2025, and highlighted a lack of procedures for grievance matters, and no defined rules for patrons (even though they aren’t needed technically as patrons have no legal liability or responsibility to a charity). This was not what Harry and his old boy network of former trustees wanted to hear, as they wanted Chandauka out, and it’s unlikely Harry will be associated with the charity again, but he’d had a good run for his money while on the surface the charity was helping people in Africa, and is known as a co-founder and former patron of the charity. Sentebale paid for many of his African trips over the years, some spanning several months at a time. This was documented when a request was made (back in 2014/2015) when it was queried as to who was funding Harold’s three month trip to Africa. KP responded, and said the charities he was representing had paid for all his expenses, and that taxpayer funding paid for the RPOs that accompanied him.
If C3 believes it is right to strip his sibling of all his titles and honours fro accusations made against him, then surely he must do the same for Prince Henry, who escaped perjury (due to a summary judgment), and as the Sentebale report states, he used the charity for his own personal gain and was permitted to do so by the former board as most were his friends. As for the financial irregularities and transactions with MWX Foundation and Travalyst, those have been buried, and the irregular invoices too (but only for 50 years as records are only sealed for a specific period of time).
Let’s forward to October 2025, where the year end 2024 accounts and report were released. Most of the MSM have failed to address the concerns in the Sentebale report (preferring to report on deleted Kardashian photos for clicks) where it states how some charitable funds were ‘lost’ due to the actions of a patron, and how some misinformation by the former patrons/board has damaged the charity resulting in a loss of donations and funding, and in particular while Harry was the patron.
Surely a deliberate abuse of position as patron for financial gain is far worse than the accusations made against Andrew, because isn’t that ‘stealing’ from the charity or a misappropriation of funds? As for Archewell and that spider’s web of companies surrounding it with money transferred in and out, that’s for the IRS and other federal agencies to handle given that there have appeared to be irregularities there too and an abuse of USAID grants.
A former patron ‘covertly’ used charity funds for legal fees (not named, but there were only 2 patrons, so guess which one!). One of the former patron’s legal advisors was key in initiating legal action and did not advise accepting the mediation offers. Thus, the former patron and board failed to act in the best interests of the charity by refusing mediation.
Harry overstepped his role as patron and altered a charity polo match (for fundraising) into a commercial venture (Netflix documentary) and as a result the event cost the charity more to stage after losing the the original venue who did not agree to host a commercial event.
The report stated the charity lost money as a result of the patron not acting in the best interests of the charity, but for personal financial gain (he was paid by Netflix for the documentary on polo).
The Sentebale report states that the former patrons and trustees embarked on a campaign of misinformation that damaged the charity and that it makes them vulnerable to negative publicity.
Obviously this is not good, when a member of the RF is said to have deliberately set out to attack a Chair of a charity they founded, and it was Harry who wrote a scathing attack on Chandauka, forcing her to defend herself in a televised interview to address the accusations.
The report further states that one former patron and some former trustees covertly tried to remove Chandauka because she would not resign after questioning a number of governance issues.
The question here is whether such action is deemed acceptable for a Prince of the realm albeit in name only? Given that we know Harry has a handful of legal ‘advisors’ we can assume he is the former patron named rather than Prince Seesio, as Harry was the one who made a statement and released it to the press.
Due to Harry’s memoir Spare and his PR activities, it was claimed that donations and sponsors were affected.
In a round about way, people didn’t wish to be associated with Harry because of his behaviour and remarks that were accusatory towards members of the RF.
Harry, the bully? Even though it is a subjective opinion as to whether Harry’s behaviour can be considered bullying, rounding up others to attack someone, then to release a statement bad mouthing the same person amounts to bullying in order to force them out of the charity, besides the fact he sent her emails that can be deemed as harassment, asking her do things that were unethical and against her will (to make a statement supporting TW’s bad behaviour at the polo match after TW received negative press after the world saw the video clips of her behaviour)
Who can forget the awkward prize giving photos at the Sentebale Cup when TW deliberately moved closer to Harold when Sophie Chandauka went to stand next to him to hold the cup, ordering Sophie Chandauka to stand next to her instead. The optics were bad and TW only had herself to blame as Harold was the patron of the charity, Sophie Chandauka is the Chair, and TW, well she was a nobody at the charity but a guest.
Just from the Sentebale report, it details (probably watered down too) Harold’s behaviour as patron, and BP and C3 must consider whether this kind of behaviour is acceptable given that these acts probably occurred when he was still a working member of the RF, and that he is using his ducal and Prince title for personal financial gain (Netflix and use of funds for legal costs without informing the entire board).
Overreach as patron, covertly using charity funds for a legal challenge but refusing to agree to mediation which is the first step.
Used the charity for personal financial gain and incurred additional costs to the charity, thus loss of revenue for the charity. By changing the polo match from a charity event to a commercial one (Netflix documentary), the charity lost the ‘at cost’ venue, and additional costs would include insurance and logistics.
Former patrons and trustees (most of the latter were Harold’s personal friends) mounted a campaign of disinformation against the Chair and issued these statements to the media. That’s called bullying and harassment.
The allegations of bullying remain because it is not an issue the Charity Commission can adjudicate on because it is not within its remit. From the statements Harold’s office has issued, it’s quite clear there was a smear campaign where it seemed to be a case that if he can’t be in charge of the charity then he’d rather the charity didn’t exist.
No one seemed to want Harold around during Remembrance Day this year, except for True Patriot Love in Canada, that is run by the former CEO (Nick Booth) of The Royal Foundation. He arrived on 5 November 2025, for a 2 day visit that had allegedly been planned a year ago.
There was supposed to be some tie in with Invictus Games, the Halo Trust, and a visit to a care home for veterans, but it was emphasised that he had been invited by True Patriot Love, and later claimed that he had informed BP of his visit. BP said they had not been informed, but does it really matter? He doesn’t represent the Crown, but the only way he will stop this mini faux royal visits as he plays out his half in/half out scheme is when his titles are removed. While he still has them, he will use them formally and informally.
The only real news that came out was Harold apologising to Canada for wearing a Dodgers cap at the World Series (as the son of the Head of State of Canada where the Toronto Blue Jays are from), with him claiming he was under ‘extreme duress’ to do so because he’d been invited by one of the co-owners. Funny, I thought it was another date night and you’re supposed to pay on a date, but then again, Harold tries not to pay for anything
There were lots of photo ops, with Harold seen posing on a boat, greeting soldiers with his hand in his pocket (bad manners) and he was given a Quilt of Valor for, well being the son of the King rather than being a veteran (‘QOVF awards quilts only to service members and living veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces’.) He also met soldiers from the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada and the Royal Regiment of Canada (headed by C3), although it appears BP were not aware of this either. Isn’t that disrespectful or was it an act to push the boundaries of being able to play at being royal again?
The problem is that it gives the impression that Harold is representing his father and the RF when he isn’t, but who organised this and did they provide misleading information? On the other hand, the impression is that the King gave ‘permission’ for the tour, and with this under his belt, it opens the doors for similar visits to Commonwealth countries. BP and C3 have the power to stop this, and we know by stripping Andrew of his titles that it’s not as complicated as experts have made out, so it’s a question of when will they do it or will C3 leave the dirty work for William (that’s unfair IMHO)?
The titles certainly still open some doors for him, and unlike Andrew, he is using the titles for financial gain. You might think how is he benefiting from this faux royal tour? It increases the visibility of Archewell to gain more grants and donations (which in turn funds the wages of their staff), increases his ties to the Invictus Games and the Halo Trust which are part of a small handful of charities that are still associated with him, and the more charities he can claim to be a patron of or be associated with, this helps his personal profile on a global scale which means he can charge more for personal appearances. The latest is back in Canada where ‘you can meet Prince Harry’ at the OREA (Ontario Real Estate Association) Power House Conference on 1 December 2025, where they have billed him as an expert on global issues. This was advertised back on 30 October 2025 and no one seemed to be interested in it as they are using Harold to sell tickets.

Funny how Harold said his visit to Canada with True Patriot Love couldn’t be announced due to security concerns (at the same time William was in Brazil), yet on 30 October, OREA announced Harold will be at Hilton Toronto on 1 December 2025, and that you can buy tickets to see him in person! Surely the latter is more of a security risk, but then again they are paying him to speak and need to advertise his appearance to sell tickets to pay for his fee/wages. He may as well put in an order for his Henry Mounbatten-Windsor website and correspondence cards now.
