🙂 HardTech Reads isn’t going anywhere.

The weekly roundup will continue exactly as it has: a curated, free digest of the most important news, launches, funding rounds, research, and trends across robotics, AI, industrial technology, manufacturing, energy, and frontier technology.
Next one→ This weekend!🔥

Over the past year, though, I’ve found myself wanting to write more📚✍️☕️🤖

Not only sharing with you the breaking news about what’s happening, but exploring why it matters—whether that’s the future of humanoids, the economics of automation, industrial AI, robotics, manufacturing, venture investing, or the long-term shifts shaping our world. Boldly and beautifully!

Those pieces are very different from a weekly news roundup. They’re longer, more opinionated, and often require much more research. And they will pop up not on a regular basis but when I get inspired by some unusual happening and have an urge in the middle of the night to dive deeper into the topic.

To keep HardTech Reads focused while creating space for deeper analysis, I’m launching a separate publication: HardTech Deep Dives 🦾🤖🦿

This means you can choose how you’d like to follow my work:

  • HardTech Reads → the free weekly news roundup.

  • HardTech Deep Dives → occasional long-form essays, research pieces, market maps, investment theses, and in-depth analysis.

➡️ If you only want the weekly newsletter, nothing changes.

➡️ If you’d also like to receive my deeper research and essays, you can subscribe to it here.

Examples of HardTech Deep Dives are already out:
➡️ The Age of Physical AI
➡️ The humanoid price war is on. And nobody’s margins are safe
➡️ The Robot Is the Easy Part

My goal is simple: keep the weekly newsletter concise and reliable while building a home for thoughtful exploration (and experimentation! 😉) of the technologies that will define the coming decades.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt this inspired and excited about what’s ahead!

Thank you for reading, sharing, and being part of this community. Writing HardTech Reads has been one of the highlights of my week for the past two years. It all started with a very shy Vol. 1, published on June 26, 2024. 😊
