It’s hard to put in to words what it means for me to be in conversation with Minda. Her book The Memo changed my life. It awoke an awareness in me that simply was not present until I read that book. Then her follow up book, Right Within, changed me again. This time giving me the tools to heal from workplaces and situations that didn’t appreciate me or the value I brought.
Imagine having those experiences and then being in conversation with the woman who did that.
That’s what talking to Minda Harts is like for me.
It’s like meeting a legend. A curandera. A teacher. A friend.
One hour was simply not enough time to spend with Minda.
I can talk to her all day.
Still, I LOVED our time together and hope you do too.
You will walk away with a deep understanding of her body of work, the throughline behind all of her books, and the projects that give her life.
For context, she wrote The Memo back in 2019, a book that became a bestseller and later a film. Since then, she’s written three more books, including her latest, Talk to Me Nice. Plus, she’s now an award-winning filmmaker in her own right She’s also a university professor, a thought leader in the DEI space, and a whole lot more.
I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did.
