#44 Original Art and Green #1!

This is The Spicy Peruvian, a monthly-ish newsletter by Peruvian comic artist & writer Gustaffo Vargas. It will have updates, behind the scenes and comic projects I’m working on.

Power Rangers: Green #1 also looks immensely gorgeous thanks to Gustaffo Vargas. Vargas designs a unique version of Tommy, whose hair is streaked with gray and whose body is less of a fighter’s and more of a caretaker’s.

Back in 2017, Dave West was the first person that believed in my work, he gave me the opportunity to draw a short story for his Wester Noir series, he then offered me a full graphic novel of 88 pages. This was opportunity was a dream! and I drew The Strange Reappearance of Peter Thomson, a coming of age story where the main character discovers his ability to change into other people and the challenges that comes with this power. This book is now collected in Cursed Blessings.

Cursed Blessings, is a collection of 4 stories that are linked, exploring the humane, strange and fantastic. It is 188 pages, black and white.
