Song of the Week

2026 is quickly becoming the best year for new music in quite some time. Olivia Rodrigo, the Stones, Ratboys, Charli xcx, Crooked Fingers, Kacey Musgraves, Towa Bird, Zoo Amba, and now, after six years, Phoebe Bridgers returns with what might be her best album yet.

Beautifully sequenced, it’s difficult to single out one song. My dream for you, dear readers, would be to listen to the album from start to finish, with headphones, and no interruptions, no screens. It’s a symphony of loss, mourning, confusion, love. It’s what she does best, but even more so.
