I saw The Swell Season in Madison in 2008. My first thought on seeing Glen live was how relatable he was, open and exuberant and flowing with love of life! My favorite part of the concert was when Glen heard a request for "Broken-Hearted Hoover-Fixer Sucker Guy." He dropped everything, and spontaneously did the whole song, un-miked on the spot, loud enough for everyone to hear! Glen was a connecting musical force, overflowing with so much positive energy and love.
