For the past two weeks, “Another 52 Weeks” has taken on a theme of sorts. Last Saturday’s edition featured photos only from Alexandria, Va., the town where my wife and I live. The previous Saturday, I found myself focusing on travel and the inevitable transitions that life brings.
This Saturday is a return to the random. “Another 52 Weeks” always has been a way to chronicle my journey in photography through a series of images that captured my eye. Now 135 weeks into this series, I still enjoy mining the archive from the past decade and a half of travel and opportunities to chronicle life as I see it.
I hope you enjoy this random set, which spans more than 6,700 miles from west (Joshua Tree National Park) to east (Santorini, Greece). Let me know if you have a favorite, or if something catches your eye, too.
This week’s “Visual Story” was a look at Theodore Roosevelt Island, one of the best kept secrets near our nation’s capital and a memorial to the 26th president.
