Sanat, Harsh · Give(a)Go

Model Context Protocol (MCP) has been taking the AI world by storm in recent months, becoming one of the hottest topics in tech circles. Even though it’s been out since November 2024.

And just when everyone thought they understood the landscape, Google shook things up by launching their own Agent2Agent(A2A) protocol that complements Anthropic's standard. The race to build the Internet of agents is on!

Remember when chatbots could only talk but not actually do anything? Now, with these protocols LLMs can do much more…

Now you can ask Claude to not just draft your social media posts, but actually publish them directly to LinkedIn. Or having it analyze your GitHub pull requests, add documentation, and merge the changes, all without you leaving the chat window.

With A2A you’ll be able to get agents from different tool providers to talk to each other. Imagine your coding agent from Replit talking to your Figma agent to implement your design in code 🤯

Think of MCP as a universal translator between LLMs and external tools. Before MCP, getting AI to work with other tools required defining function calling for each integration. Now? It's like plugging in a USB-C cable—one standard connection that can theoretically work for any service that has an MCP server (GH repo with MCP servers).

  • Content calendars that post themselves - Connect Claude to Google Sheets and LinkedIn to schedule and publish content automatically

  • Self-documenting code - Use GitHub's MCP server to have AI review pull requests and improve documentation on the fly

  • AI-powered photo curation - Organize event photos, find the best moments, and share them with your audience using WhatsApp and Cloudinary

  • Hands-on demonstrations of MCP in action

  • Explore how to make your custom client and server

  • Step-by-step guidance on using MCP to build cool stuff
