We’ve all seen the cool demos on Twitter and LinkedIn. MCP is generating buzz, but beyond integrating Claude or Cursor via Composio, how can you harness MCP to build something truly impactful?

In our previous workshop, we explored workflows using MCP in Lutra AI, which requires zero setup and useful MPC servers built in, with a clean UX. We also tried out Goose, which is a super flexible open-source client. People built meme generators, content automation flows and more

Now, we’re taking it a step further. Let’s move beyond the basics and explore how you can do more with MCP

  1. Build, inspect, and deploy your own MCP server – Learn how to create a fully functional MCP server from scratch, inspect its schema and tool definitions, and deploy it so other agents and clients can interact with it.

  2. Integrate MCP servers into your own projects – We’ll show you how to connect to MCP servers (like GitHub, Google Sheets, etc.) directly in your web apps, so you’re not limited to using them inside clients like Claude or Cursor.

  3. Use OAK to call normal APIs – Leverage the OAK repo to interface with services, even if they don’t have native MCP support. OAK provides open API spec for 1500+ APIs, that don’t have a dedicated MCP sever.

  4. Use MCP and A2A together – Explore how Model Context Protocol and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication can work together to build multi-agent systems that actually coordinate.

  5. Schedule tasks with MCP – Build flows that let your agents trigger tasks on a schedule—without needing a prompt every time.

These are just starting points. Builder Weekends are about you—the builders. Bring your ideas, and we’ll provide the support to bring them to life.

This event will be hosted at Baseline on Sunday, 11th May. Bring your laptop and good vibes. We’ll be build some really cool stuff!
