Spring always feels like a reset—lighter colors, simpler projects, a little more energy to sit down with yarn and actually make something start to finish.

And I know—I usually share knitting patterns here. That’s kind of my thing. But once the weather starts warming up, I always find myself reaching for a crochet hook instead.

Crochet just feels like spring to me. It’s faster, lighter, and perfect for those easy, in-between projects when you don’t want to commit to something huge.

So I put together this new roundup:

👉 15 Easy Spring Crochet Patterns You Can Make This Weekend

And honestly? These are the kinds of projects I actually reach for right now.

Not complicated. Not “maybe someday.”
Just quick, satisfying makes you can start on a Saturday and wear/use by Sunday.

I kept everything:

  • beginner-friendly

  • fast (most can be done in a few hours to a weekend)

  • actually wearable or usable

Think:

  • lightweight tops

  • easy dresses

  • bucket hats + sun hats

  • simple bags

  • baby gifts you can finish in one sitting

Basically… the kind of crochet that fits into real life.

And a lot of these use cotton yarn, which is perfect this time of year—breathable, structured, and easy to work with.

A few favorites from the roundup:

  • the granny stripe skirt (so cute for summer)

  • the cotton sun hat (practical but actually stylish)

  • the beach bag (this one is so fast)

  • the cropped tank (you’ll wear this constantly)

These are the projects that don’t just sit in a drawer—they become part of your everyday rotation.

If you’re not in the mood for yarn (or you want a break between projects), I just posted this too:

👉 DIY Butterfly Wreath (Easy Spring Wreath That Looks Store-Bought)

It’s one of those projects that looks way more complicated than it is—but comes together fast and makes your whole space feel like spring.

Very low effort, high payoff.

You don’t need to start a huge project right now.

You don’t need to finish something “impressive.”

Sometimes the best thing is just:

one small project
one evening
something simple and finished

That’s kind of the whole vibe of this roundup.

And if you make one, I really want to see it—send it, tag me, whatever. Those are my favorite messages.

Happy making!
