In the old days , you had an idea or two , you wrote the brass charts , the percussion added in , and you put the visual together . You may have to alter some music , there might be an idea or two that required adjustment but … it was somewhat sane.
The Bluecoats have no transitions. The transitions are productions. And from afar I can tell you - there was no formula. This program was developed through a coordinated effort beyond the norm. Beyond most anything you see today.
George Zingali , Marc Sylvester , Jim Prime and I lived in the same house in 1983 and 1984 and we talked forever … but … the product was not produced as the Bluecoats are produced .
The game has been changed. It’s going to take more work and commitment than many have or can muster to meet the new standard.
Congrats. And look out, folks. Change has arrived.
