Just wanted to publish a quick correction - in my previous post, I stated that IBR, ICR, and PAYE were sunsetting in July 2028, but IBR will remain an option for all loans taken out before July 1, 2026.

Any loans borrowed after July 1, 2026 will only have RAP (Repayment Assistance Plan) and the new tiered standard repayment option available, which for many folks, might be a new viable option as well.
