Coffee Exchange is inside a renovated house and there's seating on both floors. The upper floor is quieter and was entirely occupied by laptop people when I visited. There's a sign on the door that Wi-Fi is only available on weekdays, and when it is available, it's quite slow. The atmosphere on the first floor though is excellent, especially on a rainy day like the day I visited. There's a perfect table with just one chair that looks out over Wickenden that I'll definitely try to snag next time.
It feels sort of like Brown’s version of Macalester’s Dunn Brothers or Cal’s Berkeley Espresso; this is where the tenured humanities professors hang out.
